Wuthering Waves’ highly anticipated Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration will get underway in June – and you’ll be getting 5-Star Resonator Rebecca for free!
The crossover with CD Projekt RED’s wildly popular anime spin-off was confirmed well over a year ago, but this is our first look at both Lucy and Rebecca in the gacha game’s engine.
“Come, wander with me through the ever-unceasing dream,” the trailer teases, as it shows the newcomers arriving in Solaris.
As you’d expect from Wuthering Waves, the character models are incredible, and look like they’ve stepped straight out of the anime and into the game. We’ll need to wait a little while to see their combat capabilities in motion.
While Rebecca will be free, you’ll need to pull for Lucy to unlock her. Fortunately there is an anniversary event taking place right now with tons of free pulls, so if you want to prepare for the June release date, it might be a good idea to download the client and catch up.
In addition to the playable characters, we’d expect Cyberpunk-inspired quests and events in the game. We do get a brief glimpse of David Martinez in the trailer, so while he won’t be playable, expect him to cameo in the update.
