Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy lets players step into the role of their favourite Final Fantasy characters from across the whole series. Transported to modern-day Tokyo, you’ll face off against monsters roaming the streets and attempt to beat the opposing team in 3v3 battles.
While you’re battling it out with your faves, you can also choose to purchase the Season Pass if you wish, but what do you get from it and is it really worth it? We’ve got a breakdown right here.
What Are Seasons?
Seasons are limited-time events that tell the narrative of Dissidia Duellum. You can earn season points by taking part in battles while the season is active, and the more season points you earn, the more rewards you will unlock.
You start with the A New World Tutorial Season, which starts when you create your account and ends when all season rewards have been earned. If you choose to purchase the Season Pass, you will earn additional rewards per season.
You will always be able to view the story events, and these are not locked behind Season Passes.
The next season is The Fight Rages On, the prologue, which begins after you have completed the tutorial season and will run until April 28, 2026, at 03:59 UTC.

What Do Season Passes Unlock?
The first Season Pass costs 90 (Paid) MogPay Points. If you purchase the Season Pass, you get the following benefits until the end of the current season:
- Opens the Season Pass lane in season rewards.
- Opens the Season Pass lane in event rewards (such as Ability Draw Tickets, Growth Eggs, Character Tickets, and MogPay Points).
- Opens the Season Pass lane in login bonuses (such as Ability Draw Tickets).
- You get twice as many Growth Eggs from ability draws.
- Increases sealed ability crystal slots from three to six.
- Increases the number of ability set slots from one to three.
- Allows you to skip the video ad for the five free draws once every eight hours feature.
You can also choose to purchase a Boost Pass, which triples the season points you earn from battle. The first one (for three days) is free, so make sure you take advantage of it!
After that, you can purchase a three-day Boost Pass for 480 (Paid) MogPay Coins or 28 days for 1,980 (Paid) MogPay Coins.
Are Season Passes Worth It?
If you are playing Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy a lot, then the Season Pass will likely be worth investing in, as in addition to the extra rewards, the double Growth Eggs will allow you to improve your characters more quickly, while the additional slots will let you have more sets ready to go at any time.
If you are a casual player, it’s likely not worth investing in, as you will still get plenty of rewards without forking over real money.
A New World Tutorial Season Rewards
You earn season points by participating in battles, and as you reach certain season point milestones, you’ll unlock rewards. Depending on whether you have the Season Pass or not, you will earn additional rewards.
