So, can this Instagram post actually be taken as a piece of evidence towards a new Uncharted game? Almost certainly not.
While it is believed Naughty Dog has a secret second project in the works, it’ll arrive after Intergalactic, which it in itself isn’t expected until 2027. Given the other game isn’t announced, we doubt a lead developer at the studio would casually tease the title over social media.
Naughty Dog ended the series in a relatively good place in Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, though did leave the door open for a follow-up through Nate and Elena’s daughter, Cassie. There have also been long-standing wishes of a title with Sully as the protagonist, so should the developer return to the franchise, there are a few different ways they could take another entry.
