Warning: Potential spoilers for The Super Mario Galaxy Movie aheadWe are literally days away from the release of The Super Mario Galaxy Movie. Still, that hasn’t stopped the hype train from increasing in speed. Because just days after it was revealed that Fox McCloud of Star Fox fame would be making his grand return via the big screen and that none other than Glen Powell would be voicing him, it’s now been stated that The Super Mario Galaxy has not one but two post-credit scenes.
In other words, you’re going to want to stick in your seats long after the credits have rolled on the sequel to The Super Mario Bros. Movie.

It’s Not Just Fans Who Are Happy About Star Fox’s Movie Debut
The people behind Fox McCloud are happy that he’s getting some major love.
The information comes by way of movie superfan Matt Ramos, who took to social media to share that The Super Mario Galaxy Movie is following the cues set forth by other major movie events in having multiple post-credit teasers.
Of course, what is in those post-credit scenes remains to be seen. After all, we’re just four days away from April 1, meaning it won’t be long before we find out what’s in store for the future of the Nintendo Cinematic Universe.
That said, now that we do know there are two post-credit scenes, if spoilers are a major fear, then you’re going to want to stay off the Internet or mute just about every word in the Nintendo world.
The Post-Credit Scene Is So Going To Be A Super Smash Bros. Invite, Right?
As exciting as the prospect of two post-credit scenes is, it’s not like The Super Mario Bros. Movie has shied away from them so far. In fact, the first movie had as big of a post-credit scene as it gets with the tease of Yoshi.
So what can we expect in the sequel? Well, after the reveal of Fox McCloud, all bets are on the table at this point. The reveal of Wario is the leading theory, but with Fox having a role in the movie, there’s a lot of hope for some sort of Super Smash Bros. tease.
Given that there’s reportedly two post-credit scenes, then both feel appropriate. Of course, it goes without saying that one or both of those teasers could ultimately be nothingburgers, as other movies have had jokes as a post-credit before.
