The Best Characters To Pull For In The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

The Best Characters To Pull For In The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin brings characters from the anime and introduces new characters into the world. Whenever you’ve got characters that you have to pull for in a gacha game, you want to make sure you’re either pulling for your favorites or you’re using your precious resources to grab the best character in the roster.

With different elements, combo potential, weapon options, and more, there’s a lot to consider when it comes to ranking characters in the game. While the SSR characters are always bound to be high on a tier list, some of the regular summon characters you can find on the regular banner are just as good.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin Complete Tier List

Each character in the game can play differently based on the weapon they’re using. This means, for example, you can completely change a DPS character into a healer if you’d like.

For this list, we will use the character’s best job and weapon combination. Since their other weapon options would likely be in a different position on a tier list, we will look at the best options they have.

We’ve ranked each character based on several factors, including their ability to fit in a team, their strength, their combo ability, their ease of use, and how well they perform in the story and endgame content.

Meliodas

His attack and Demonic Power are good in any melee weapon set he chooses. He can increase his damage, give himself haste, and lower his cooldowns.

One of the strongest characters in the game, his kit has everything to amplify damage for himself. He can burst through almost anything.

Diane

A large burst support damage dealer, her usefulness relies on her strength and being a part of the earth element, which has several great party options to choose from.

A great choice for a focus DPS, she also gets access to Petrify due to her element, so building around her is a good idea.

Jericho

Jericho character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Similar to Diane, Jericho works in both the early game and the late game with her power. Her Ice Sculptor armor will increase her Burst Gauge, making her even more formidable.

She’s a great frontrunner for a cold element team, and perfect for burst damage needed in the late game.

Elaine

Elaine shines as one of the best versatile characters in the game. Every weapon she has is top-tier, allowing her to do everything from grant party-wide damage reduction to increase her own Crit chance and Crit damage with the right weapon.

Her element versatility is great when switching between weapons and parties.

Mannie

As a Light unit, she can work well with almost any element as a more support-style character. She’s great for buffing damage and crit rate, with an ultimate move that’ll reset the normal cooldown of allies.

She’s the perfect team player who can really fit into any team.

King

As an earth element character, he fits well with an earth element team based on the options available in the game.

He comes with clutch support options, including increasing earth damage taken and providing barriers and HP regeneration. You’ll need his Grimoire for this, though his other weapons still find great use in an earth element team.

Guila

Guila character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Guila is great because once you get her to use her rapier, you’ll see how she can dominate as a fire element who destroys everything in her path.

She provides ridiculous burst damage akin to Diane and Jericho, but she’s not higher than her other weapons are, as they are nowhere near as good.

Drake

Drake is just as good as Guila and Tristan; however, outfitting him on a team is quite difficult. There are only two lightning characters available, and you’ll be missing out on potential if you don’t pull enough to get a team that utilizes him.

He is still a powerhouse, enough to push past all of this and just dish out heavy damage with the right rotation.

Tioreh

Tioreh character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Tioreh shines when she gets her hands on a wand. The combination of healing, decent damage output, and defense increase that she can provide gives her a solid push as an off healer or main healer in a party who can still help buff you while dealing damage. Tag skills providing healing is as big of a deal as it sounds.

Tristan

Tristan character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

Tristan is good. He’s on par with Guila, helps build up your elemental burst, and has several combo options with both wind and fire elemental characters.

Howzer

Howzer character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

An early game addition, Howzer actually finds some use as you progress through the story. While he’s not amazing, he can help Wind and Fire teams with combos with Tioreh and Tristan.

He can help support specific parties and get you through the main story and to endgame content just fine.

Gilthunder

As the only real synergy with Drake, if you’re going for a lightning element team and want the elemental burst, you’ll need to pull him to make the team work.

Hendrickson

Hendrickson character portrait in The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin.

A decent support option. Hendrickson can provide the general defense and an increase in healing output. This keeps him from being lower, as he’s a good budget option for support if you need it.

  • Dreydrin
  • Dreyfus
  • Griamore
  • Bug
  • Slader

Each of these characters is decent for a specific situation or team, but they just aren’t worth the investment.

As you start pulling, you’ll quickly realize they don’t offer anything you’ll need to add to a team in comparison to other options. They require too much investment for what they offer, and you really won’t need them outside of exploration options.
