Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy brings back the fun of the Dissidia series by introducing characters and interaction that wouldn’t happen otherwise. We get to see some fun, unique, and hilarious interactions across the Dissidia franchise.
The heart and soul of your favorite Final Fantasy characters on display as they face off against each other and the heroes and villains of other games in the series is what really makes the games special. Luckily, we get to see more of those cute and heartwarming moments in the mobile Dissidia title Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy, even if on a much smaller scale.
Warrior Of Light Uses A Phone
One of the first and funniest interactions is seeing how the Warrior of Light has to adjust to using a cell phone. Obviously, since they’re from another time, the device is foreign to him and Terra, and seeing their struggle on how to use it when they first got it is kind of hilarious.
Even looking at how the Warrior of Light holds the phone so far away from him in such an unnatural way, just trying to figure out how to use it, brings some fun to the story in a light way.

Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy: Character Tier List
Which Dissidia characters should you pull for?
Zidane Annoys Lightning
Though he’s a thief, Zidane loves the spotlight. He proves this by leaving his jammer off during battles while purifying crystals. Of course, those jammers are meant to block the identity of ‘ghosts’ but Zidane is out there enjoying the spotlight.
The ever stoic Lightning already sees the problem with this interaction and is completely exasperated by the lax nature and need for attention, noting that it could very much backfire later on.
Lightning Leaves Her Jammer On
This leads to another funny moment. The ever stoic and private Lightning proudly proclaims that, while most of the others follow directions and leave their jammers on while in battle and off while not in battle, she actually leaves hers on at all times.
This discovery is hilarious at the time, as not only does it fit her personality perfectly, but even the Warrior of Light is like yes, I leave mine on during battle and off while outside of battle. Seems Lightning would like to keep reading her magazines and current events in peace.
Cloud’s Dry Responses
Cloud’s unique attitude shines through, even in text message form, through the FINE app. He’s pretty deadpan about almost everything, despite the subject matter or its importance. While discussing what to do if people find out their identities and a fan follows them, Cloud just announces that he won’t be able to respond because he “has a class.”
With him, that’s it, no explanation of what type of class, or when he will return? Just a deadpan, I won’t respond for a while because I have a class. Good old Cloud at his best. Later on, when the group gets distracted, Cloud again just says, great, now back to the topic at hand.
Bad At Gathering Data
When you put Krile, Rinoa, Zidane, and Prompto in a group together, you get exactly what you’d expect. A group of kids who don’t really know what they’re doing. They’re basically the kids of the group, who, without supervision, have one of the most hilarious exchanges in Dissidia.
They’re all just technologically illiterate, trying their best to figure out how to figure out how exactly they’re supposed to gather data. Spoiler alert, they never figure it out.
Warrior of Light’s Use Of Stickers
Back to their fearless leader, not quite getting the hang of the technology thing, it’s always funny when the team calls him out for being the old man in the group.
Even when there’s a serious conversation going on, his use of his two staple stickers in the most unconventional moments is still worth a laugh.
Warrior Of Light Gets A Cup Of Coffee
It’s pretty funny to see their leader, the Warrior of Light, excited about being offered a cup of coffee. He’s so excited to share this tiny gesture we’re all so used to; he even adds a sticker to his message.
It’s adorable to see him light up from a job well done that resulted in a coffee over. A nice pick-me-up after some drama that unfolded earlier. He notes it as “something wonderful happened.” This tiny gesture means so much to him, and the following stickers from Cloud and Lightning make it even funnier. Interactions like these are part of what makes Dissidia so special.
Crocodile Tears FTW
Krile and Terra together can be a menace, as seen in their ability to get their way through the use of crocodile tears. To help the group, the two shed a few fake tears to help the committee come around.
Terra’s use of her sticker in this scene is also hilarious, as she cheers that their brilliant plan actually worked. Even Lightning is shocked at their idea, showing the most emotion she has up until this point. When you want to get the job done, send in Krile and Terra with fake tears, and you’ll get your way.
Mog Eating Cookies And Going To The Movies
No matter how dire the situation may be, Mog can still find time for things he enjoys. Despite there being a pretty big cloud over the group after how events unfold, Prompto comes in with flyers for the movie Mog wants to watch.
Rinoa and Krile bring cookies for Gaia, and of course, when they’re not looking, those cookies are eaten by Mog. His little hesitation when he gets caught eating the cookies, followed by him quickly trying to change the subject, is very typical of Mog, and a moment of cute lightheartedness among the seriousness of the story at the time.
