For now, Ubisoft officially has Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag Resynced on its books, and the public reveal is planned for this Thursday, 23rd April 2026. It plans to reveal “gaming’s worst kept secret”, the French publisher jokingly posted to social media.
While they’re not full remakes — or even remasters — Ubisoft has been updating its back catalogue of Assassin’s Creed games with 60FPS enhancements on PS5. So far, you can get Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, Assassin’s Creed Origins, and Assassin’s Creed Syndicate, and, most recently, Assassin’s Creed Unity, all running better on PS5.
