Rosalina Now Has Her Own Official Switch 2 Controller

2026 is quickly becoming the year of Rosalina. The Nintendo character made her big screen debut in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie, she was added to Super Mario Bros. Wonder via its Switch 2 Edition, and now you can play as her using the space princess’s first-ever officially licensed Switch 2 controller.

Created by Turtle Beach, an industry leader when it comes to official controllers and video game accessories, Rosalina’s Switch 2 controller is available now on Amazon for $64.99. It uses Rosalina’s pale blue and white color scheme and is covered in stars based on the same colors, with some bright yellow ones thrown in to celebrate her Luma companion.

The controller has built-in RGB lighting, which means those stars, along with the Comet Observatory silhouette at the center of its design, glow different colors when you’re gaming in the dark. It’s part of a growing collection of Turtle Beach Nintendo controllers, but not only is it the first one featuring Rosalina, but it’s the only one available on Amazon right now that features characters outside of Mario, Luigi, and Bowser.

The only downside is even though you can buy it now, it won’t be released until May 4, 2026.

How The Mario Galaxy Movie’s Box Office Numbers Stack Up Against Rival Video Game Adaptations

There Isn’t Enough Rosalina In The Mario Galaxy Movie

Rosalina looking over her shoulder in The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.

Even though Rosalina is getting a lot more attention than she’s used to right now, her fans are a little peeved with how little of her we got in the Mario Galaxy Movie. Rosalina doesn’t get much more than ten minutes of screentime in the Super Mario sequel. Considering how much of her we were shown in the trailers, and with Brie Larson voicing the character, it felt like she would have a much bigger role to play in the film.

With Larson giving Rosalina her voice in the movie, and the way the Galaxy Movie ends, it’s almost certain that we’ll be seeing a lot more from Rosalina in future projects. It’s confirmed in the new movie that Peach and Rosalina are sisters. Ever since Rosalina was introduced to the Mushroom Kingdom via Super Mario Galaxy, there have been theories regarding her relationship to Peach due to how similar they look.

Some fans assumed Rosalina was Peach’s mom, but the Galaxy Movie has confirmed that the two of them are indeed siblings. No word yet on where the movies might go next, although we do know a third Nintendo princess will be added to the mix. We were given our first look at the movie version of Princess Daisy during the film’s credits. She didn’t talk, but that’s almost certainly because Nintendo hasn’t decided who it wants to voice her yet.
