As a pleasant surprise, we didn’t just learn more about Wilds Unknown and Attack of the Vine in the latest Disney Lorcana Lorecast, but we also have a head start on the following two sets, which will take us up to Q1 2027.
The Coco set due in Q4 2026 is confirmed to be called Hyperia City, while the first 2027 set remains unnamed, but we know that the central theme will be Onward.
We don’t yet have any cards, products, or even solid dates to accompany these teases, but it just goes to show the power of Pixar within the Disney Lorcana lore, and it’s great to see two hugely popular properties finally make their TCG debut.
Bright And Vibrant, The Ideal Coco Teaser
While we only have the one Hyperia City teaser image to work off, as well as a logo, plenty is happening in the image that will surely have the Lorcana community speculating in months to come.
Front and center of the image is Miguel, which comes as no surprise, and he is still strumming away on his great-great-grandfather Hector’s iconic guitar.
Curiously, behind Miguel, just to the right of the image, is what appears to be the outline of Ernesto De La Cruz, so could we expect to see him feature in the set as well?
There aren’t any other obvious clues as to what could be coming in the release, but the general tone of the image is so well-suited to Coco that it’s got us incredibly excited already.
Hyperia City will be the first time that Coco as a franchise will appear in Disney Lorcana, and it will do so in style with its very own dedicated set. No release details were given during the Lorecast, so we still just expect this sometime in Q4 2026. It will also be launching shortly after a Lorcana set rotation, so we expect it to have a considerable impact on the meta as the Year Two sets rotate out following Attack of the Vine.

A 2027 Tease
While the Hyperia City reveal gives us little to work with, the first official tease for the Q1 2027 set somehow gives us even less to work with. However, we know that it will be based around Onward, which was released back in 2020.
This will mean that four Lorcana sets in a row, from Wilds Unknown through to this first 2027 set, will all have been heavily themed around or led by Pixar movies.
There’s no issue with this, of course, and if anything, it just goes to show the pure power of the material the animation studio has to pull from. It makes us wonder, however, when we’ll be back to a core Disney-led launch, and whether this Pixar run is indicative of a continuous story beat that may continue past Attack of the Vine.
