Sony is due to announce the lineup of PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium games for May 2026 next week, on 13th May 2026, with a view to making them available on the 19th. However, due to a State of Play livestream from a few months back, the Classic title Sony will have to offer won’t actually be a surprise.
There is a decent chance you’ll have forgotten the news by now, so as a reminder, light gun game Time Crisis is your PS Plus Premium release for May 2026.
Sony has only offered a single PS Plus Premium game per month to subscribers for a considerable amount of time now, so the likelihood is Time Crisis is all you’re getting for May 2026. The full lineup reveal takes place next week on 13th May, and the selection goes live for active members the following Tuesday.
Time Crisis on PS5 and PS4 will even retain its light gun origins through the use of the two consoles’ motion controls on the DualSense and DualShock 4 controllers. You can see how it’ll work via the link. An obvious classic of the PS1 era, it’ll be fun to return to the light gun experience almost three decades later.
