The next Marvel’s Spider-Man game could be in the works, as Peter Parker face model Ben Jordan put up and deleted a tweet about doing some face modeling. Jordan was the face of Peter Parker in the Insomniac games; the one the devs retroactively changed, for some reason.
In a now-deleted Instagram post, he revealed that he was back in face-capture gear, with the caption IYKYK (If you know, you know). The post is no longer available, but some reports also said that he shared a Spider emoji in the caption. Whatever the case may be, it looks like Jordan could be lending his face for Peter Parker in the next Spider-Man game.
Is Marvel’s Spider-Man 3 In The Works?
The actor, the face-capturing gear, the caption, and the eventual deletion of the post line up to make it seem like a new Spider-Man game is in development. However, it’s not necessarily going to be Spider-Man 3. It could be another Miles Morales game, or even the Venom spin-off that we’ve been hearing about for so long.
At the end of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, it looked like Peter was going to take a sabbatical to focus on his personal life, leaving Miles in charge as the resident Spidey of New York. Just because Jordan is modeling for the character again, it doesn’t mean that Peter will definitely be swinging around again, but it seems unlikely that he’ll only make a cameo without putting on the mask at all.
Insomniac’s Wolverine Needs To Be Nothing Like Spider-Man
And thankfully, the 2026 action-adventure seems to be taking inspiration from a different source.
Another possibility could be that Peter Parker may appear in Insomniac’s upcoming Wolverine game. We know Logan travels to different places and comes in contact with familiar faces, and one of them could be Pete. Frankly, I’m hoping this is the case, as it would be awesome to see a video game team-up between Spidey and Wolverine.
Unfortunately, Wolverine will be launching this September, so it’s unlikely that the studio will be doing face capture right now. Perhaps a DLC where he travels to New York?
