Out of all the game genres in the industry, open-world exploration games like Crimson Desert easily give you the most value for your money since these games have a ton of side content both during and after you finish the main story, and this game takes that to the next level.
Not only does it have a lot of side content, but most people also like it more than the main story itself. As you explore the map, you can find different ancient ruins like the Precipice of Echoes, where you have to solve a small puzzle to get an artifact, and here’s how you can solve this one.
Where To Find Precipice Of Echoes
If you haven’t found the Precipice Of Echoes ancient ruins in Crimson Desert yet, but you’re looking for more artifacts, you can look for it to the southwest of the main city of Hernand where you spawn after the tutorial. To the south of this city, you’ll see a small river running across the land.
Follow this river to the left and it’ll automatically lead you southwest. As you’re following it, you’ll eventually reach a territory called Fort Perwin, taken over by Bleed Bandits. As soon as you reach it, go south and you’ll stumble upon the ruins not long after you go into the land from the river.

How To Solve The Precipice Of Echoes Puzzle
After reaching the Precipice Of Echoes location, you’ll see that there are a bunch of tiles on the ground with one of them being higher up than the rest. The main idea to solve this puzzle is that you have to make a path through the tiles while joining two of the same symbols together with this path.
The first part only has one pair of the same symbol, which is easy to solve by just walking in the front. However, the subsequent parts involve multiple pairs of symbols, and you can’t step on the same tile twice. The puzzle resets if you do that or if you walk out of the grid before solving it.
Once you’re done connecting two pairs of the same symbol, your next movement should take you to a tile with another symbol.
To help you solve this puzzle, we’ll give you the directions you need to move with each step for all the parts. As a reference for these directions, we’ll be assuming that you’re standing near the initial elevated tile while starting the puzzle and looking at the door that contains the artifact.
Here are the directions you need to step in for each part after the first one, since the first one only needs you to move forward:
