While you’re visiting your little post-apocalyptic landscape in Pokemon Pokopia every day, you’ll notice that you get a stamp from the PC every day with a different Pokemon on it, and you can fill out a Stamp Rally card each week of up to five stamps.
If you’re wondering exactly what these stamps are for, what rewards they get you, and how you can improve those rewards and get extra stamps, here’s what you need to know about the Stamp Rally.
How Does The Stamp Rally Work?
You do not need to have the Pokemon Center rebuilt to access the PC, so you can earn a stamp as long as you can use the PC.
Every day when you interact with a PC, you will earn a stamp on your Stamp Rally card. Over a week, you can earn a total of five stamps, and then every Friday, you can hand in your Stamp Rally card for Life Coins and start a fresh Stamp Rally card.
If you don’t play the game on a Friday, you can still redeem your rewards up until the following Thursday, so don’t worry about having to log in exactly on Friday!
The number of Life Coins you get varies depending on the stamps, with rarer stamps being worth more Life Coins. The outer circle behind the Pokemon on the stamp seems to suggest its rarity.
The plain circle first evolution Pokemon stamps appear to be the most common, with evolved Pokemon with the pointed stamp pattern being the next one up, then legendaries with the more rounded stamp pattern as next rarest, and finally, Mew and its unique stamp pattern being the rarest of them all, and therefore, worth the most Life Coins.
How To Get More Stamps
If you already have a full card and collect a new stamp, you can still select it, and then you will be prompted to replace an old one of your choice.
From Friday to Thursday, you can get a new stamp every day, which means you will get a chance two chances to replace stamps for a better one if you log in and check your PC every day.
However, you can get another by visiting a PC in a friend’s world, and it’s usually a different one from the one you received from your own PC that day. You can do this multiple times a day, providing you are visiting multiple different worlds, so you can fill up your card much more quickly.
Doing this means you can be strategic in replacing your common stamps and replacing them with better ones so you get more Life Coins when you hand the card in.
