Smart Speaker Deals

Amazon’s Alexa voice assistant comes in a wide variety of form factors, but the original is the Echo speaker, which has transformed from a tall cylinder to a tiny little globe. The Echo Spot shaves it down even further to a half-sphere and adds a handy little touch screen for visual information. In our review, we were impressed by the surprisingly solid audio quality from such a small unit, and noted that the screen, although small, was well-designed for showing useful data like the weather, as well as giving you a tactile interface for connected smart home items. If you need your Alexa device to have a little more visual appeal, the Echo Show 5 attaches a handy screen to the smart speaker, giving you access to vide feeds from compatible security cameras, streaming content from Prime Video and other services, and lots more. In our review of the most recent model, we gave it an “Excellent” rating, noting that it delivered a bigger screen than the previous iteration, along with more responsive microphones so you don’t have to spend so much time yelling at Alexa to wake up. Apple Deals

We declared the 11th-generation iPad the best Apple tablet for most people in our review, deeming it Editors’ Choice-worthy for its capable components, high-quality all-metal build and bright, colorful screen. Under the hood, you get a robust silicon loadout featuring a five-core CPU with two performance cores and three efficiency cores, a four-core GPU, and a 16-core NPU, or Neural Engine. Onboard RAM has been boosted from 4GB to 6GB for this edition, making it capable for creative apps like GarageBand. Battery life lands around 10 hours on a charge. Dyson consistently tops the charts when it comes to vacuum innovation, and we gave the Gen5 Cordless an Editors’ Choice award in our review, noting the dozens of improvements it brought over the previous generation, including a power toggle switch so you don’t have to hold the button down, boosted suction power, and a cool LCD display that gives you tons of information on how clean your floors and surfaces are. Slashing 43% off of a pair of Beats Studio Pro headphones is a very impressive bargain. In our review of these comfy and assertive over-ear headphones, we lauded their rich, punchy sound that lends itself well to many different music genres, as well as seamless pairing with Apple devices and the ability to use a USB-C connection for high-resolution listening. You can expect deals on Amazon’s in-house brands across the Spring Sale, but we’d be surprised to see a smart security discount this deep. For just eighty bucks, you get everything you need for front porch monitoring: the Blink Video Doorbell, which we praised as being easy to install with surprisingly sharp 1080p footage in our review, along with a Blink Outdoor 4 camera, rated “Excellent” in our review for equally good image quality both day and night, local and cloud video storage options, and support for Alexa voice controls. Finally, the Sync Module Core keeps everything connected and running smoothly.

If you have a big yard to keep secure from prowlers or wild animals, this three-camera bundle will give you all the coverage you could ever need at 37% off. We were very impressed by Arlo’s offerings in our review, with this camera delivering 2,560-by-1,440-pixel resolution across a 160-degree field of view, with up to 12x digital zoom, color night vision, and high-efficiency batteries rated to last as long as eight months, depending on the activity modes you set. We gave an Editors’ Choice award to this exceptional dual-mode floor cleaner, as it leads the pack in performance with tons of helpful features. Amazon has dropped its price by a staggering $500 during the Spring Sale, so if cleaning is getting you down, snap it up before they sell out. In our full review of the Ecovacs Deebot X8 Pro Omni, we praised the boosted suction power and redesigned roller mop that washes itself as it works, along with its improved navigation and mobility features, including the ability to lift itself above some obstacles. If you’ve got kids in school, you know that there’s a lot of posters involved with modern education. If you need a home printer that can output bigger sizes for their homework, the Epson Workforce Pro WF-7820 is a solid pick, especially with a price drop that brings it under $200. In our review of this model, we were impressed by its supertabloid sizing, up to 13 by 19 inches, and the output quality is stellar. The built-in large-format scanner is worth it for this price alone, and throw in a bevy of Wi-Fi and USB printing options and you’ve got a great printer, even if operating costs are a little higher than competing models.

Smartwatch Deals

We called the Pixel Watch 4 one of the best-looking Android smartwatches on the market in our review, with the trademark curved glass design accentuated with a tiny bezel. The display intelligently scales what it shows around the edges to make sure it’s presented with maximum clarity, and a maximum brightness of 3,000 nits makes it useable even in direct sunlight. Under the hood, this wearable is packed with all of the health insights and productivity features you’d want, although it does require an Android phone to pair with. The addition of dual-frequency GPS makes its location services more accurate, and emergency satellite calling gives you a panic button in case you get stranded in the wilderness.

We raved about the tenth iteration of the Apple Watch in our review, bestowing an Editors’ Choice award on it for its multiple form factor improvements, including a thinner case coupled with a larger screen. This configuration pumps up the style factor even more, with a gold titanium case paired with a gold Milanese mesh loop, making it an attention-getting device that still handles all of the productivity and health tracking tasks you need it to. This release added a ton of stuff for swimmers, including depth tracking and water temperature sensors, as well as sleep apnea alerts for snorers. A $300 discount is out of this world, but they’re selling fast.

You don’t need a huge speaker to get huge sound, and the JBL Boombox 3 is a perfect illustration of that principle. We rated this durable and assertive outdoor speaker “Excellent” in our review and gave it an Editors’ Choice award, impressed by its massive durability and solid construction. With an IP67 rating for dust and water, it can stand being submerged for a whole 30 minutes. It’s pretty heavy, weighing in at 14.7 pounds, but that weight gets you a super-capacious battery for a full 24 hours of playing time in between charges, as well as a built-in subwoofer for powerful bass. Laptop Deals

Let’s dive right into the laptop deals. It’s going to be hard to beat this juicy 30% price drop on a very capable Lenovo business portable. We reviewed a slightly different configuration of this IdeaPad Slim generation, and were impressed by its light weight and full-sized keyboard with number pad. This is a great option for multitaskers or people whose daily work involves high-bandwidth creative apps, with 24GB of memory and a bundled USB hub for all your peripherals and external storage.

Chinese hardware company Geekom is best known for their mini desktop PCs, but they recently ventured into the laptop market with the GeekBook, obviously designed to be a Windows-based competitor to Apple’s MacBook. With an all-metal magnesium alloy unibody construction that weighs in at just 2.2 pounds, it doesn’t skimp on quality. You get a really nice 2.8K OLED display, a 14th-generation Core Ultra 9 processor, and tons of RAM and storage for the price point. Add in battery life that can run up to 16 hours on a charge and you’ve got a killer deal at 28% off retail plus an extra coupon.

Desktop Deals

Here’s a budget-priced business desktop that exceeded expectations so much that it earned an Editors’ Choice in our review, thanks to extremely capable performance for under $600. This configuration is even better than our review unit, with both the RAM and storage doubled, as well as a 14th generation Intel Core i5 processor. While it’s not going to dominate high-octane creative tasks, it’s got more than enough sauce for everyday use. The bundled keyboard and mouse are also decent, and there are plenty of ports for extra peripherals.

Monitor Deals

If you’re taking advantage of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale to set up a new gaming battlestation, snag this monitor deal before it powers off. We declared the LG Ultragear curved OLED ultrawide an Editors’ Choice winner in our review, with exceptional results in our benchmarking tests for brightness, contrast, and color quality. Resolution is also super-high, and input lag is microscopic, bottoming out at just 4.7ms at 1080p resolution. No matter what you want to use this screen for, it’ll dominate the competition. We did balk a little bit at its retail price, so a 29% discount is very notable.

Smartphone Deals

While Motorola isn’t at the top of the phone business like it was in the early 2000s, we’re still happy to recommend its hardware for solid performance at a nice price. The foldable Razr Ultra 2025 is a compact mobile that we gave an “Excellent” rating in our review, noting its slim design with two crisp and colorful displays, a speedy Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, and the longest-lasting battery we’d tested on a flip phone, clocking in at 22 hours and change in our testing. It’s a good deal at retail and an even better one with a 38% discount.

Here’s a huge 25% discount on a mobile we ranked “Excellent” in our review, with mobile expert Iyaz Akhtar proclaiming that the Pixel 10 “combines high-quality hardware with competitive specs and performance, and some of the best software available in an Android phone,” including a ton of actually useful on-device AI courtesy of Google’s Gemini system. We like the Pixel 10’s high-quality aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 surfaces, and the 6.3-inch OLED screen has a peak brightness of 3,000 nits, more than enough to make it clear even in bright sunlight.

Projectors come in all shapes and sizes these days, but we particularly enjoy the ones you can carry around for movie and TV viewing indoors and out. The Nebula Cosmos 4K SE snagged an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with contributing editor M. David Stone declaring it “the best room-to-room portable projector for buyers on a budget, with excellent brightness and image quality.” A four-channel laser-LED hybrid light source delivers 123.3% of BT.709 rated color gamut with virtually no rainbow artifacts. Weighing in at just under ten pounds, it’s not ultra-portable but lightweight enough, and the built-in Google TV gives you streaming right out of the box.

TV Deals

Our TV savant Will Greenwald declared the Hisense U8QG the absolute best LED on the market for the price in his review, saying that the screen excels with tremendous brightness, great color quality, and delicious contrast. It’s also a great pick for the ears, with a4.1.2-channel spatial audio system, and console gamers will dig the multiple back and side-mounted USB-C ports. Multiple sizes are discounted for the Big Spring Sale, but the 75-inch unit has a whopping 23% price cut that really stands out.

Router Deals

You’re going to need peak Internet speed to snag these Amazon deals before other people, so take this opportunity to snag a cutting-edge router at a 17% discount. We gave the TP-Link Archer GE650 an Editors’ Choice award in our review, with praise for its unmatched throughput speed, stylish volcano-inspired designs, and multiple wired LAN ports, including a 5GbE Gaming LAN port that gives bandwidth priority to connected gaming devices, and easy management with the TP-Link Tether mobile app or web console.

Amazon’s eero brand of mesh network nodes is one of the most affordable ways to spread consistent signal throughout your home, and while we had some reservations about their venture into the Wi-Fi 7 spectrum, this is still a great bargain. You can read our full review for all the details, but this three-node system performed quite well in our benchmarking tests, with simple installation and consistent coverage over 6,000 square feet. Multi-gig WAN/LAN ports on each unit let you hook up wired connections, and it also plays nice with Matter, Thread, and Zigbee smart home automation.

Storage Deals

If you think the spike in storage prices is just a temporary thing, think again. Leading suppliers are expecting shortages to last until at least 2030, so prices aren’t going anywhere but up. Smart money is on taking advantage of whatever deals you can get, and this price drop on an excellent internal Western Digital SSD is the best we’ve seen in weeks.
