All Confirmed Wilds Unknown Disney Lorcana Products

Winterspell is in the rear-view mirror, and we’re full steam ahead towards the next Disney Lorcana set, Wilds Unknown. We finally know a lot more about the set courtesy of the recent Lorecast, which revealed the two Iconic Rares for the set, amongst other various details.

We’re going to take a closer look at the confirmed products launching with the set as they’re announced, especially because the prerelease packs are finally arriving in Lorcana, and they’re a big upgrade for the run-up to the full launch.

Prerelease Pack

Prerelease packs are finally arriving in Lorcana following the announcement last November, and they will launch one week before the rest of the product lineup.

Thanks to the info given at the time of their reveal, we know that each prerelease pack will cost $39.99 and contain the following items:

• Six booster packs
• One of six promo cards
• A cardboard deck box
• Four themed dice
• A special set-specific item
• A rules sheet

These packs are designed to give you a great experience at any pre-launch events, and let you play sealed or pack rush games without having to just buy packs early, which also benefits your LGS, which won’t need to open full booster boxes early.

As we’ve already noted, prerelease begins a week before the official launch date, which is when this product will be available.

We now know the six promo cards that you can find in the prerelease packs, they are:

• Ariel, Curious Traveler
• Maleficent, Imperious Traveler
• Cruella, Judgmental Traveler
• Queen of Hearts, Impatient Traveler
• Cinderella, Resourceful Traveler
• Pocahontas, Steadfast Traveler

Booster Box

The staple of any TCG release is the booster box, and in the case of Disney Lorcana, each booster box contains 24 booster packs. The MSRP for these boxes is $143.76, using previous launches as an example. However, this is just the recommended price, and your local game store, as well as online retailers, are free to sell them for more or less if they so wish.

A booster box is the best way to try and find some of the best chase cards in Wilds Unknown, including the Iconic Rares.

As is often the case, your LGC may offer specific bundles to increase the value of what you’re purchasing, or offer discounts throughout the preorder window, and if you’re attending an event. Online prices tend to peak and drop with interest, and leftover stock of older sets can sometimes be available for a steal if you time it right.

The prerelease is also going to improve the ease with which players can play sealed or pack rush games, as stores won’t need to crack open full booster boxes early, and each player also gets some added goodies to justify the cost of entry.

Illumineer’s Trove

The final confirmed product (for now) that is part of the Wilds Unknown is the Illumineer’s Trove. This product is essentially Lorcana’s equivalent of the MTG bundle and includes the following items:

• Eight booster packs
• Card storage box
• Two deck boxes
• 15 damage counters
• A player guide

While the content may vary by set, this is what came included with the most recent release and is why we’re taking it as a likely checklist for Wilds Unknown.

With a $49.99 MSRP for the previous sets, this product offers some serious value and a great way to store cards set by set. Eight booster packs alone would cost just under $40, so you’re essentially paying $10 for the storage, deck boxes, and damage counters.

Playmats

Two fabric playmats are being released with Wilds Unknown. One is Super Goofy, and the other is Merida. Each playmat has an MSRP of $19.99.

Set championship playmats featuring Woody will be available at a later date, but these are earned through participation in the events and typically can’t be purchased separately.
