Updated on April 11, 2026: With Triple Seven in Persona 5 Royal one of the best ways to earn money outside of dungeon-crawling toward the beginning of a new run in P5R, we’re back to update our guide to help you max your stats and find your Triple Seven barcode locations quicker.
How To Get A Job At Triple Seven
Before you start working at Triple Seven, let’s first go through the basics of the job and how you unlock it. You first learn of the game’s part-time jobs when Morgana suggests you apply for one on 4/18.
Persona 5 Royal: Room Decoration Guide
Looking to spice up Joker’s bedroom in Persona 5 Royal? Our guide gives you the locations and unlock conditions for each decoration.
To get the job, Joker needs to stop by and check out one of the job magazines, which can be found in the Underground Passage in Shibuya.
To quickly locate one of the magazine racks that allow you to get info on part-time jobs in P5R, pull up your map and look for the yen symbol. You’ll find a large blue magazine rack, so peruse the selection of pamphlets here to see what’s available.
To begin, you’ll have access to three jobs, but with Joker unable to go out at night, only Triple Seven and the Rafflesia Flower Shop are accessible to start. Needing at least rank two Charm, though, you’ll likely have better luck working at Triple Seven early in the game to earn some spare yen through P5R’s part-time jobs.
Going To Work At Triple Seven
The Triple Seven store is located in Shibuya Central Street down toward the movie theater, which informs how busy this part-time job can get – with Shibuya being a central district in Tokyo, you can bet on Joker staying busy!
The job is available both afternoon and evening on any day of the week, so you’re able to fit it in around your busy schedule especially after the game removes the softlock of not allowing you out of Leblanc at night. There is no payment differential for the shifts based on time of day you work at Triple Seven, with afternoons and evenings paying the same, but there is a bonus for busier days, which we’ll detail below.
Mementos Requests From Triple Seven
With so many side quests into Mementos on offer in this game, there are many ways to unlock them, and Triple Seven is your ticket to unlocking the Calling for Justice for Cats quest.
All you need to do is work three shifts at Triple Seven between 4/18 and 8/11, which covers the beginning of your part-time work through a few days before the cutoff for you to finish Futaba’s Palace. If this condition is met between the aforementioned dates, then Mishima will give you the quest on 8/11.
Fittingly, your reward for finishing it is the Blood Scimitar, a new weapon for Morgana.
Scan Specific Barcode Locations For A Bonus
On your busy shifts, your coworker asks you to find barcode locations on certain items, and having Joker do so successfully is your ticket to bonus payments. Answering correctly on the first answer nets more than on the second, but both options to answer where the barcodes are will yield a reward.

Your base pay for a shift at Triple Seven in Persona 5 Royal is ¥3,500, but this number fluctuates quite a lot depending on your actions while on the clock.
Occasionally on shift, Joker will be faced with days that are busier than normal, and your pay will change depending on how you handle those shifts. If Joker is able to keep up with busy shifts, you walk out with ¥3800, but if he can’t, your pay will be cut instead, and you’ll only earn ¥2300 for the shift.
This job is an easy early-game option for increasing your Charm, which will be required to access different part-time jobs later on, certain Confidants, and more. Working at Triple Seven in P5R will reward you with two points of Charm, in addition to your daily pay.
Working at Triple Seven on any day ending in a seven will offer a plethora of rewards: your base pay increases to ¥7400 instead of the standard amount, and you’ll earn three points of Charm instead.
You’ll also receive periodic visits from friends during your shifts, and it’s a good way to earn a bonus point toward any of the following Confidants.
Your Confidants will need to have at least been started outside your shift, or the character representing the arcana for that Confidant will not be included in the list of friends able to visit you at Triple Seven, since they won’t be able to gain Confidant points.
