As soon as it was revealed that Leon Kennedy would be in Resident Evil Requiem, many assumed that this meant Ada Wong would also be making an appearance. At the very least, we were expecting her to be mentioned, but in the end, nothing came of it – aside from her potentially being Leon’s mystery wife.
However, a new development has fans hoping that Ada won’t be out of action much longer. Over on her Instagram, Ada actor Lily Gao shared pictures of her and Leon’s actor, Nick Apostolides, hanging out. It looks like they met up for a coffee, but of course, the fact that they’re together has fans wondering if this was more of a work outing – perhaps because they’re recording for Resident Evil Requiem DLC?

Gao didn’t give us any context for the reunion and just shared the pictures of her and Apostolides hanging out on her Instagram.
While it is very possible that they just grabbed lunch together, fans are jumping on the idea that there’s more to this. They believe that the pair are in the same location because they’re recording together, especially for Resident Evil Requiem DLC.
Now, I won’t pretend to have any info on how potential DLC would be handled, but I would be slightly surprised if recording only just started now. Also, Apostolides would have recorded for the base game and could have done any DLC work then and there if it was ready to go. It wouldn’t really be necessary for the pair to record together, and it would be a little remarkable if their schedules allowed for that.
With that said, I did a little sleuthing, and I cannot see any convention appearances that would have had them in the same area around this time. So, that doesn’t leave a lot of options if this is a business trip. Of course, it does leave the possibility open that they’re just hanging out. People do that, I hear.
Still, many will be hoping that we get to see Ada again at some point in the future. And even if we don’t, fans are still desperately trying to figure out who Leon married. The latest candidate is Ashley, but there are a whole lot of Aeon truthers out there, hoping that this reunion means something.
