Konami’s efforts to revive the Silent Hill franchise seem to be paying off, as the Japanese publisher has posted a sales update revealing new milestones for Silent Hill F and Silent Hill 2.
As of 22nd April 2026, Silent Hill F has sold more than two million copies since its September 2025 launch. Then, as of 24th April 2026, Silent Hill 2 has been played by over six million players. The remake has been part of PS Plus Extra for over half a year now, but just prior to its inclusion in the subscription, we knew it had sold over 2.5 million units.
At around the same time, Konami shared that Silent Hill 2 represented roughly a quarter of the horror franchise’s total sales. So, with Silent Hill F purchases added on top, the two most recent entries now represent a substantial portion of the IP’s total video game sales.
To mark the sales successes, Konami has discounted the PS5 digital dual pack containing Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill F by 40% on the PS Store, dropping the price to £68.99 / $59.99 until 27th May 2026.
