As you do the main story of The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin, most of the things are straightforward, as you get a marker for where you’re supposed to go and a hint for what you’re supposed to do. However, towards the end of the second act, you’ll come across the Albion Mutant boss fight, which won’t be quite as straightforward.
This fight has multiple phases, and it also needs you to do specific things unlike every fight before this, where you can defeat opponents just by spamming your skills and basic attacks at them. Here’s everything you should do before this fight, and how you can easily beat the boss.
How To Prepare For The Albion Mutant
The difficulty of combat will increase quite a lot when you go against the Albion Mutant, and it’s highly recommended to prepare a little for it. As you’re following the second act’s story, you’ll know when this fight is about to begin as a giant Albion will be causing havoc in the fairy forest as you glide down to it.
When you’re close to this fight, the first thing you’d want to do is check on your characters. It’s recommended to have at least two characters with their first mastery. Level up their weapons as much as you can and equip the best gear you have. These two characters can carry you through the combat.
Generally, Tristan is a good character to choose for upgrades here as he gets an engraved armor in the story.
After leveling up your characters, you should check your inventory and place the healing potions in your hot bar. If you don’t have any, it’s recommended to craft at least ten of them. Once you have these two things ready, you’re good to start the fight.

Keep these tips and tricks in mind for a smooth start to your adventure.
Albion Mutant First Phase Guide
When you start the cutscene of the battle against the Albion Mutant, it’ll transform into a much bigger giant than you first see. As the battle starts, your first job is to get close to the giant’s legs without getting hit. Watch out for circles of projectiles that he throws on the ground as you get close.
Once you’re close to its legs, it’ll constantly stomp the ground, and you have to dash at the right time to dodge these. Furthermore, you can attack its legs to build up the bar on the right side of its HP. When this bar is full, the Albion falls to the ground and you have to climb up on its chest to attack the orb.
If you use your skills synergistically, the circle to stun the boss will build up much faster.
In our experience, it’s a little harder to climb the Albion’s body from its left leg, so you should do it from the right. Once you’ve attacked the orb enough to drop the boss’s HP to around 40 percent, it’ll enter the second phase, which will be slightly different.
Albion Mutant Second Phase Guide
During the second phase, you won’t be able to get close to the mutant as it’ll push you away every time. Instead, you have to look for the flower turrets that spawn on the field. The king will distract the mutant, and you have to enter the turret in the direction where the boss is facing.
After getting in, shoot at the boss’s core to deal a bunch of stun bar. However, make sure you’re keeping an eye on its attacks and dodging them. When you build the stun bar up fully, you can get close to the boss’s legs again and attack them normally, which will let you get up to the core and end the fight.
