Announced earlier in the year, Halloween is the latest horror franchise to get its own game, and now we know when it’s due out. However, the date might give you a scare.
Developer IllFonic has announced it’s coming to PS5 on 8th September 2026 in this new gameplay trailer:
The game features both single player and multiplayer modes, in which you can play as Michael Myers himself or a range of civilians aiming to stop his killing spree.
It looks like it shares a lot of elements with other asymmetric horror games, such as Friday the 13th: The Game. Still, it’s cool to see the town of Haddonfield, which looks pretty fleshed out in the game.
