The underground city of Speranza in Arc Raiders is a massive one. Much of humanity’s remaining population lives there, and with thousands of people there, there are just as many mouths to feed. With very little natural sunlight, much of their food is grown in labs and specially designed farms.
There’s only so much variety they get, though, and if repairs are needed, similar tech from above ground is needed to repair it. Celeste is hoping she can follow the past researcher’s information further and improve the gardens and variety of crops Speranza has, so she needs a Raider to check out the Hydroponic Domes for her.
How To Find The Data Archives
Untended Garden is one of Celeste’s quests, and it’s unlocked by completing her prior quest, A Balanced Harvest, and this time you’ll be heading to the Dam Battleground.
This quest needs to be completed in a single round, and the first location you need to visit is the Hydroponic Dome Complex on the northwestern side of Dam Battlegrounds.
The swamp region is a great location to find Great Mullein plants, which are used to craft Herbal Bandages, and it has a large area of First Wave Husks to loot at the nearby Old Battleground, and there’s an extraction point nearby as well.
There are four different domes in the area, but the one you need is the dome in the lower-left-hand corner that’s closest to the Central Swamp Lift in the center of the region.
Go inside the dome, and you’ll find a tall white computer console close to the door with a special interaction prompt. Get the data from it to complete that quest objective, and now you’ll need to upload the data at any Field Depot.
You can loot Moss from the planters in the Hydroponic Domes, which are used to craft Defibrillators at the Medical Lab station, and Herbal Bandages from your inventory if you have the In-Round Crafting and Traveling Tinkerer skills from the Skill Tree.
Where To Upload The Research Data
Fortunately, there’s a Field Depot in the Hydroponic Dome Complex, and you can find it in the middle of the area, slightly north of the dome you’re in. Head to it, and you’ll find a quest-specific computer on the desk in the corner of the room next to the usual one.
Interact with it to upload the data to Celeste, and you’ll be finished with the quest objectives, so you can extract and return to Speranza when you’re ready. Speak with Celeste in the Traders tab to turn in the quest and get a reward:
- Some EXP.
- Three Advanced Mechanical Components, a key material for crafting and upgrading many Epic Rarity Weapons.
- Three Heavy Gun Parts, which are also used to upgrade several Uncommon and Epic Rarity Weapons, depending on their upgrade level.
- Five Canisters.
