As you make your way topside in Arc Raiders, you’ll come across various machines that have taken over. These Arc units are set on attacking raiders on site, making resources hard to get even on the best of days. However, the team in Speranza believes it’s time to try going topside once more–to rebuild outposts and crate new ones!
With a bit of help from our guide, you can locate each of the sites that Tain Wen asks you to tag. Doing so will enable the team to construct new outposts over time, which benefits all of mankind in the fight against the machines.
Where To Tag Outpost Buildings For Tian Wen
When you unlock this quest, Tian Wen asks you to head topside across four different regions to tag locations for new outposts. You’ll need to visit the Dam Battlegrounds, Buried City, Spaceport, and Blue Gate to find these structures and spray paint a clear marking on them for the construction crew.
The instructions given are enough to go off of, but with such large maps, it’s easy to get lost. Below are all the locations you need to find to complete this quest:
Dam Battlegrounds Tag Location
At the Dam Battlegrounds, head to the northern section of the map. You’ll want to head to the Pattern House, which is up the hill behind the electrical field and northern elevator. Once there, look to the right of the front door and tag the wall with a marking so the Speranza crew can transform it into an outpost later.
Buried City Tag Location
In the Buried City, you’re looking for the sunken residences buried in sand, which can be found in the southeastern corner of the map. Here, take a look around for a garage door in need of some fresh paint. Tag the wall and head to the nearest extract point to get home safely.
Spaceport Tag Location
At the Spaceport, you need to reach the Southern Trench Tower, which is out of the way in the north. If you’re having trouble reaching it, you can always deploy a zipline to cross the chasm, or you can take the long way around and use the stairs hidden below. Once up top, tag the southern tower by the eastern staircase and move on to extract.
The Blue Gate Tag Location
Finally, in the Blue Gate, make your way to the tower nestled between the Checkpoint and Warehouse Complex on the map. You’ll find a makeshift tower here with three points you can tag, though you’ll only need to paint one.
Once you’ve hit all four structures for Tian Wen, head back to complete the quest. Your rewards are a rare firearm, medium ammo, and a rare weapon modification you can use to improve your gear!
