If you’ve been paying attention to the trader dialogues when they’re about to give you a quest in Arc Raiders, you’ve probably realized by now that most of them are just sending you to run an errand for them on the Topside. However, sometimes these requests might not be quite as selfish.
Keeping The Memory quest from Celeste is a good example of this, as she simply wants you to respect someone’s memorial and return their helmet to it. However, finding this helmet might not be as easy as it sounds.
Where To Find The Missing Helmet
The first part of the Keeping The Memory quest starts by asking you to reach the Wreckage area in Formicai Hills. You can find these hills on the bottom right side of the Dam Battlegrounds map when you fully zoom out. To find the Wreckage area here, you can zoom in on the green portion, where you’ll see it written to the right side of the Scrap Yard.
Once you reach the Wreckage area, you’ll see a big Arc machine ruin near a giant tree. This is your quest location. To find the helmet near these ruins, you have to check a small shrub right in front of the giant tree. When you get close to this shrub, you’ll see a yellow icon pop up.
Interacting with this icon will bring out the helmet, and you can then pick it up for the next part of the quest. The helmet works similarly to a battery that you have to deposit in a field depot, so you should check your surroundings before picking it up to avoid an ambush.
Where To Place The Helmet
Once you’ve found and picked up the missing helmet, the rest of the quest is quite simple. When the helmet is in your hands, you’ll see a blue-colored outline of it on top of a small metal bar right beside the bush where you found it.
As you get close to this metal rod, you’ll get another interaction that lets you place the helmet on it. This will finish the Keeping The Memory quest and you can head back to Speranza to receive some Simple Gun Parts, Duct Tape, and Magnets.
