Working to defend the remnants of humanity in Arc Raiders is tough work, especially when just starting out. While you can familiarize yourself with the necessary materials and maps you encounter, there’s nothing like coming across something new to defeat or collect.
The Stella Montis map is largely unexplored, and Tian Wen wants you to do some recon and bring back new materials for her to study. We’ll help you locate everything she needs so you can progress further with the story and claim rewards that will make raiding that much easier. Here’s everything you need to know to get started on your search for Tian Wen in Stella Montis.
Where To Take The Photo Of The Rover In The Sandbox
When you accept this quest, you’ll need to deploy to Stella Montis on the map. Once there, your first goal is to take a photo of one of the rovers in the Robotic Sandbox. There are two of these sandboxes, located in the center of the map, where you can find the rovers–which look like dune buggies.
Be cautious when approaching this region, as Shredders, Fireballs, Pops, and Sentinels are all common and will attack on sight, alerting other Arc and raiders to your location. All you need to do is walk up to one side of the rover and interact with it to take the photo. After that, the objective will complete and you can move onto the next one.
Where To Find The Security Checkpoint Papers
Next, you’ll need to head to the upper floors to find where the lobby meets the security bridge. Just north of the bridge, turn to the east to find a small reception area with a room behind it. Inside, you’ll find a series of filing cabinets and tables with paperwork.
If you go through the checkpoint, you’ll set the metal detector off and the sound can draw unwanted attention.
Approach to examine the papers to complete this objective. From there, it’s best to hurry back to Speranza by taking the lobby metro home. It’s nearby and easy to get to so long as it’s active. Watch out for other raiders on your way down!
Where To Find Magnetrons
The next thing you need to find is a Magnetron for Tian Wen. These new materials are found in the Assembly Workshop to the north of the map. This area has a lot of offices and open spaces, making it dangerous whether you’re facing a fellow raider or a Fireball.
While a Magnetron isn’t guaranteed to spawn here, it’s your best place to look. Search all the tool carts, cabinets, and work stations for parts. Even if it looks like it’s already been rifled through, you’re sure to find something of use. Make sure to check the upper levels of the workshop as well!
There’s a raider hatch in the workshop you can use to make a quick escape.
Where To Find Flow Controllers
Finally, Flow Controllers can be found in the Medical research labs. There are Shredders that monitor these halls, but there are plenty of sequestered rooms to hide in. Look at all the carts and medical bays for resources you can use.
It’s not a surefire thing that they’ll always appear, but the odds are in your favor. Once you find a Flow Controller, be sure to put it in your safe pocket so you know it’s coming back with you. Take everything back to Tian Wen to complete the quest and claim your rewards. You’ll receive a Burlette, Silencer, Extended Light Mag, and 100 Light Ammo for your troubles.
