Following Octopath Traveler 2’s lead, Octopath Traveler 0 has a neat bit for fans of the game’s soundtrack. And, well, every iteration of Octopath has sported a sterling soundtrack, so really, this is for everybody who wants to tune in to greatness on demand. Once you’ve gained access to an in-game music player, you can listen to a variety of songs – and even change your town’s theme.
Whether Octopath Traveler 0 Will Maintain Series Continuity Is Entirely Up To You

In order to do so, however, you must collect each available track individually throughout the world. You’re going to find loads of these tracks before you can actually listen to them; that will happen once you’ve progressed pretty far into the Wishvale arc and constructed the museum.
Music Track Locations
Collectible tracks in Octopath Traveler 0 are split into several categories. Battle, Travel, Intense Battle, Master/Bestower – these are the big ones, but a few tracks don’t really conform to these naming conventions.
As mentioned, none of these can be heard until the museum is built in Wishvale. This happens in Chapter 6 or so – maybe 7 – but either way, it’s pretty late. You’ll have access to several tracks by default, including Wishvale’s theme. There’s a second Wishvale theme, too, which is frankly a cooler track, and we set it to the town’s default.
In any case, here’s what we’ve found thus far, and we’ll continue updating the listings until we’ve found them all:
