Horror adventure games are usually pretty beloved for their wildly detailed and horrifically gruesome works of art, and Reanimal, the next game from Little Nightmares developer Tarsier Studios, is no different. Here, you’ll find a chilling series of art that’s available to unlock as you progress through this creepy world.
While there’s plenty of litter scattered about in the ruins of Reanimal, you’ll find a series of 20 posters stuck to the decaying walls that can be torn down and used to unlock a series of artwork on the main menu. Keep your eyes out for this collectible in Reanimal!
Tear Down Posters To Unlock Art
You might have noticed that the set design for Reanimal is pretty dreary in almost every corner of the world you’re exploring, and while you’ll find out the reason for this destruction before long, you’ll need to be adept at navigating it if you hope to make it through.
Reanimal Review – An Evolution Of Nightmares
Reanimal is a fantastic evolution of the Little Nightmares formula, with only a couple of hiccups to show for the transition.
Along the way in the main story of Reanimal, though, you’ll find plenty of set dressing scattered here, there, and everywhere, and hidden among the anonymous bits of the world that used to be, you’ll find 20 hidden posters hung up throughout the world.
Most often located slightly off the beaten path near major story beats, you’ll need to keep your eyes peeled for a variety of black, white, and red posters hung on walls, street posts, rocks, and more. They may be hung among other bits of art on the wall you can’t interact with, and they may be hidden just off-screen from where you need to go.
When you see one of these posters, interact with it to take it down. Doing so will help you unlock a series of collectible bits of concept art for the game, available from the game’s main menu at any time.
Should you begin a secondary playthrough, perhaps in search of a different ending, your poster collection carries over between playthroughs; the collection of posters in Reanimal tied to the Steam or console account on which you’re playing.
If you get to the end of your first playthrough and realize you’ve missed one or two, you can always restart the game in a new save file, choose the chapter you missed something during, and replay it quickly now that you’ve solved the puzzles the first time and speed-run back through to grab it. Finding all Reanimal posters unlocks the A Proper Gander achievement.
In the table below, we’ve kept track of the location of all 20 posters in Reanimal. We’ve organized this table by chapter, with information on the location of every poster relative to the chapter and how to access it from where you first see it.
It’s usually best to have the male orphan grab a poster when you first see it, since you can’t always double back to its location safely during your first playthrough of a chapter.
