Scrappy is your ever-faithful rooster in Arc Raiders who will slowly collect loot for you while you play or leave the game. Scrappy has multiple upgrade levels. The more you upgrade Scrappy, the more loot the rooster will bring for you. The very first Scrappy upgrade requires a Dog Collar, a rare trinket item.
You’ll need to head into a raid, grab a Dog Collar, then return to Scrappy to upgrade the rooster from level one to level two. However, Dog Collars are fairly rare, and you’ll need to head to specific areas to be in with a chance of looting them.
Best Place To Find A Dog Collar In Arc Raiders
We found the most Dog Collars on the Buried City map while looting some of the residential buildings. You’ve got a better chance of looting a collar from one of the higher-rarity loot areas, like the Grandiosa Apartments to the south of the map, but there’s a chance to find a Dog Collar in any of the loot boxes considered ‘residential.’
Dog Collars are typically found in residential loot containers, like shelves, lockers, and cupboards.
Buried City is our favorite map for farming Trinkets as there are a lot of residential loot containers that hold Trinkets of high value, including Dog Collars. You can farm a lot of coins on this map in a short period of time.
That’s the case on any map and there are no restrictions on which maps you can and can’t find a Dog Collar on. For example, we’ve found Dog Collars on the Blue Gate map inside ruined buildings randomly around the map, and inside the Water Treatment Control center on Dam Battlegrounds. Just check lockers, shelves, etc.
