Western publisher GungHo Online Entertainment knows it’s got something special on its hands with Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter, and so that’s probably why it’s given this very expensive physical edition the green light.
Priced at a whopping $274.99 / £239.00 on PS5 — and that’s without shipping — the ‘Golden Wings Edition’ is now up for pre-order via Panax Games.
What’s more, this is a limited-time deal. Pre-orders will only be available until the 8th March — and at this point, we should remind you that Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter doesn’t actually have a confirmed release date yet.
So what’s in the box? Why is this thing so eye-wateringly brutal on your wallet? Well, you’re primarily paying for a 12” x 7” x 10.4″ diorama model of a crazy airship chase that happens in the game.
We must admit, said model looks pretty impressive, but again, this certainly isn’t cheap — even if you’re a mega fan of Falcom’s franchise.
