Path Of Exile 2: The Last Of The Druids – Best League Start Builds

If you’re looking to start out on the right foot in Path of Exile 2, here are some good starting builds.

The bulk of these items are new talismans that will prove most helpful for players relying on the new Druids class, the ones that can be slotted to the left of your impressive range of Staves and will allow you to change between the three animal forms added with the class. That said, there’s still an assortment of new gear that players of any class will enjoy using, like armor, weapons, accessories, and more.

Since most loot drops in Path of Exile 2 are randomized (outside key fights, that is), you can always try to reset the instance and try again if you’re not happy with items you’ve been finding.

Atziri’s Splendour Sacrificial Regalia

Armor

These pieces of Atziri armor are drops for clearing the Queen Atziri fight at the very end of your custom-made Vaal Ruins temple runs. The Sacrificial Regalia will work in conjunction with your corrupted gems, and you’ll earn a variety of late-game stat buffs for your efforts.

Atziri’s Step Cinched Boots

The boots to match with the armor above, you’ll still have a 30% movement speed modifier on these boots, which are something of a must on footwear in PoE 2. This pair helps with your max life and evasion stat as well.

Amor Mandragora Changeling Talisman

Talisman

The Amor Mandragora Changeling talisman cashes in Rage spent in exchange for Druidic Prowess, and with boosts to physical damage and intelligence alike, it’s a good pick for the werewolf form of the Druid class.

Fury of the King Ashbark Talisman

This new talisman in The Last of the Druids gives plenty of buffs to the bear form, including better flammability on your slew of fire-based spells, improved speed on attacks, and a flat Strength boost.

Hysseg’s Claw Familial Talisman

With a boosts to damage done by minions, Witches are especially capable of making the most of this specific new talisman.

The Flesh Poppet Vicious Talisman

The Wyvern form for the Druid class will do well with this new talisman, with improvements to physical damage, boosts to all three attributes, and plenty more base buffs on the talisman before you begin modifying and improving it further.

Atziri’s Contempt Pronged Spear

You’ll keep Spear Throw on this Spear once you get it for clearing the Queen Atziri fight, and its range of bonuses added when you equip it include boosts to most elemental damage types and improved elemental damage output, a flat increase to attack speed, and more.

Atziri’s Rule Reflecting Staff

Another weapon earned in the Queen Atziri boss fight in the Vaal Ruins temple, you’ll find Mirror of Refraction on this magic Staff. It works with corrupted gems, too, so it’s a powerful choice for anyone who opted to play with the new Druid class no matter which animal form you’ve come to rely on throughout the game.

Drillneck Penetrating Quiver

This quiver guarantees Pierce damage on impact for any enemy, and it also offers increases to maximum life, attack speed, and better chances for crits and damage boosts with the guaranteed Pierce effect.

Flesh Crucible Diamond

Other

This gem can be slotted into your passives tree once you’ve unlocked a gem slot, and it’ll give you a new passive in exchange.

Lavianga’s Spirits Gargantuan Mana Flask

Instead of manually drinking from this flask, it will instead apply its effect no matter what, offering you consistent mana regeneration.

You’ll recover less mana on the whole than you would if you manually drank, but not having to think about managing it is a nice bonus.

Armor and weapons earned within the Vaal Ruins temple have a selection of modifiers that are additionally available for each piece, but after corrupting your weapons a few times using the Corruption Chambers you’ll unlock in later stages of the game.
