The Gathering Baldur’s Gate 3 D&D Secret Lair Superdrop Details

The Gathering Baldur’s Gate 3 D&D Secret Lair Superdrop Details

Magic: The Gathering’s Secret Lairs have brought characters from other worlds to that iconic TCG, including Spider-Man, Sonic, and even SpongeBob. If, like a lot of people, the focus on those colorful crossovers has rubbed you the wrong way, today’s Dungeons & Dragons Superdrop, featuring characters from Baldur’s Gate 3, might be more up your alley.

Yes, it’s still a crossover that brings non-MTG elements into the TCG’s world, but D&D has a lot more in common with Magic than Marvel. A card that shows Shadowheart fighting a dragon is much more in-keeping with Magic’s vibe than one that has Dwight in dungarees holding up a beet.

Shadowheart is a good place to start, as that’s clearly the set from this Secret Lair that Wizards of the Coast is the most excited about. That and the set dedicated to Baldur’s Gate 3’s Gale. Shadowheart’s Devotion and Gale’s Ambition are both made up of five cards each, all of which are focused on their respective character. The non-foil sets cost $29.99 each, while the foil versions are $39.99.

The New Baldur’s Gate 3 MTG Cards Give Wyll’s Big Story Moment To Shadowheart, And Fans Are Confused

Wyll doesn’t exactly get a lot as it is.

While those are the only two sets in today’s Secret Lair dedicated to Baldur’s Gate 3 characters, fans of the game might recognize some of the locations used for the Lands of the Forgotten Realms set. Twice as many cards in this one since they’re all locations, and duplicates of each five cards, but still the same price as the Shadowheart and Gale sets.

Today’s Superdrop Features Seven Sets And Some Unique Artwork

Even though you only get four cards instead of the usual five, the Black Lights & Dark Dungeons set from the D&D Superdrop is my favorite. Using artwork that makes these cards look like they’re from a bygone era of the iconic tabletop game, you can get the non-foil versions of these incredibly unique crossover cards for $29.99, and foil versions for $39.99.

The remaining three sets in today’s D&D Secret Lair are all priced the same as everything else from the Super Drop, even though they are limited to four cards each due to the unique nature of their artwork. Shadows Over Baldur’s Gate features much more colorful, almost-animated art, Whispers in Candlekeep is for the dragon aficionados among you, and vampire fans are being catered to via Strahd’s Descent.

All seven sets in the D&D Secret Lair will be available to buy later today – February 9, 2026 – starting at midday EST, exclusively through the Secret Lair website. No sign of any bonus cards for spending over a certain amount, but if you spend $99 or more, you’ll get free shipping on your order. Various bundles combine the sets to help you do that, starting from the $199.99 Bag of Holding bundle, all the way up to the $464.99 All Dice Cast bundle.
