The Duskbloods Now Has An eShop Listing In Australia With A 2026 Release Date

FromSoftware fans were left worried and disappointed after Nintendo’s recent third-party Direct, as it didn’t include any new information about The Duskbloods. Those fans have now been thrown a lifeline, as the game’s first eShop listing, along with a potential retailer leaking its release date, has them hoping we’ll see and hear more about The Duskbloods soon.

The Duskbloods Has An eShop Listing

FromSoft’s Switch 2 exclusive has had its own page on the Nintendo website for months. However, it hasn’t had a place in the eShop to call its own until now. It only appears to be live on the Australian eShop, for now, but any listing at all might be an indicator that Nintendo and FromSoft are preparing to reveal more about a game which, despite the excitement, we still know very little about.

We were told a little more about it via a Creator’s Voice blog after its big reveal, but since then, almost a whole year of nothing.

The Duskbloods’ new eShop listing also includes a “planned release date”, although it’s no more specific than the 2026 we already knew about and continue to cross our fingers for. It was this time last week that FromSoft’s parent company, Kadokawa, confirmed in its latest earnings report that The Duskbloods is still expected to launch in 2026, as is Elden Ring’s Switch 2 exclusive Tarnished Edition.

There’s A Retail Listing, Too, And It Has A More Accurate, But Very Unofficial, Release Date

Shortly after an eShop listing for The Duskbloods cropped up out of nowhere, a retailer in Finland went a step further, as spotted by GoNintendo. The online store has gone ahead and added an exact release date for the game, claiming it’ll be here on March 27, 2026.

That is incredibly soon, and very exciting if accurate. I wouldn’t go putting it in your calendars and booking time off work just yet, though. Last month, a retailer claimed the Switch 2 version of Borderlands 4 would be launching on February 27, 2026, after it was delayed out of 2025. A few days later, Take-Two revealed work on the port had been “paused indefinitely”, leading many to believe it might never be released.

Whether it’s releasing next month or later this year, some concrete news about The Duskbloods will go a long way to building excitement for the Switch 2’s first full calendar year. Following the recent partner showcase, it feels like many people are a little underwhelmed with what’s on the docket for the new Nintendo console throughout the rest of the year.

The significant silver lining to that is we don’t know much of what Nintendo has planned. There are almost certainly tentpole first-party titles we don’t know about still to be announced, and The Duskbloods getting a store page might mean there’s a Direct coming soon during which we’ll learn more.
