As Arknights: Endfield gets more updates and adds more characters to the roster, you’ll constantly see different DPS units go in and out of the meta. However, one thing that will remain constant is the requirement of staple support units in each team, and Xaihi is one of the best examples of this.
Xaihi is a five-star character using an Arts Unit as her weapon. She excels at applying Cryo Infliction to the enemies, healing your characters, and increasing their Cryo DMG. Once you build her with the right weapons and gear, she’ll give you a significant overall damage increase.
Best Xaihi Weapons And Essence
Being a support unit, Xaihi can use a wide range of six-star and five-star weapons to go along with her kit. Unfortunately, she doesn’t have any great four-star weapon choices in the game. Chivalric Virtues is the six-star weapon that will give you the highest value on Xaihi, but here are all your other choices:

While Xaihi does apply both Cryo and Nature Amp with her Ultimate, she still fits in the Cryo DPS teams for the most part since there isn’t any outshining Nature DPS unit in the game currently. Her best team involves Yvonne, Gilberta, and Estella, as you can use this both against single-target enemies and AoE fights.
However, since Yvonne is a limited character, not everyone will have access to her. In these cases, Last Rite can be quite a good replacement as she’s undoubtedly the best character for nuke damage in the game. For this team, Fluorite can help you gain more Cryo Inflictions since Last Rite needs at least three of them.
In both teams, you’d want to apply Cryo Infliction with Estella before triggering Xaihi’s combo skill.
Xaihi Abilities Overview And Upgrade Priority
Much like every other character in Arknights: Endfield, Xaihi’s abilities are quite easy to understand for the most part, and here’s what you need to know about her:
- After activating her Skill, Xaihi creates an Auxiliary Crystal that follows the active character. Upon triggering the final strike with this character, she heals them and also triggers her combo skill, which can apply Cryo Infliction to the target enemy.
- If the active character is already at max HP, Xaihi instead gives them an Arts Amp. She also provides Cryo and Nature Amp to the entire team with her Ultimate.
- The main reason why you’d want Xaihi to be the second one to apply Cryo Infliction is that she can increase the Cryo DMG taken by the enemy for five seconds when that happens.
While upgrading Xaihi’s abilities, you’d want to focus on her Ultimate first to get the increased Amp, followed by her Skill for the healing. You can then upgrade her combo skill and basic attack a little, though you don’t need to go in fully on these.
