If you want to survive the dangers of topside in Arc Raiders, then you’ll need to amass a wide collection of different materials scattered throughout the game. From items used to craft firearms to materials you’ll donate to the Expedition, almost everything has a use.
However, some materials currently only exist to be sold or broken down. One of those is the Mini Centrifuge, which was introduced alongside the Stella Montis map. While it may have no direct use at the time of writing this, it is still quite useful for acquiring key materials you will need down the road.
Where To Find Mini Centrifuges
When it comes to finding Mini Centrifuges, you’ll need to head to Stella Montis, as this is the only map that this item currently spawns on. Classified as an Exodus item, there are several spots throughout the map where you can find this material. They are:
- Assembly
- Assembly Workshops
- Lobby
- Medical
Of these locations, Assembly and Assembly Workshops are far and away the best options for finding Mini Centrifuges. This is not only because it’s an Exodus-focused location, but also due to the sheer density of higher-tier loot. Specifically, the Workshops in back have a ton of white and blue drawers, which you’ll want to prioritize looting.
These appear to have a greater chance of having Rare and Epic materials appearing, making them great for finding items like Mini Centrifuge, Ion Sputters, or other Stella Montis-only items. Also, don’t ignore the rolling tool drawers, as these also have a chance to contain this material.
Keep in mind, Assembly is a very hot location due to the amount of loot. If you spawn into the raid late or far away, there’s an extremely high chance that this location will already be picked over by the time you get there!
The second-best alternative is Medical, which is made up of several labs across two floors and two main chambers. Each of these labs contains a plethora of white drawers and bins you can rummage around in. While finding a Mini Centrifuge isn’t as consistent as Assembly, if you manage to get to Medical early, you’ll have a decent chance of finding a few if you loot in the different labs.
However, this place can be quite dangerous as there are usually a couple of Shredders roaming the different rooms. Because of this, you will want to be cautious in not alerting them, as they can not only kill you very quickly, but are also highly mobile and can quickly chase after you.
Finally, the last place worth checking is Lobby, as the eastern stairwell contains several side rooms you can loot.There are some desk drawers and black containers that can contain a Mini Centrifuge; however, the actual number of lootable places is fairly minimal. Because of this, I only suggest checking here if you either spawn right by the Lobby or are just passing through.
Lobby is probably the most dangerous location on the map, as it has a ton of Raiders passing through and has become a big PvP spot. I strongly recommend spending as little time here as possible; otherwise, you’re likely to get jumped!
As for why you would even want some Mini Centrifuges right now, it’s because they can be recycled into Advanced Mechanical Components, which are critical for both crafting and upgrading weapons. You will always need these, so I strongly recommend snagging the Mini Centrifuges whenever possible, as they can help you amass a nice collection of Advanced Mechanical Components!
