When you’re whaling on the Headhunting banners in Arknights: Endfield, you’ll find plenty of four-star characters to level up along the way, and that’s where you’ll unlock Estella, a helpful Cryo polearm user just as adept at Cryo inflictions as she is with following up to smash frozen foes to bits.
With the right weapon and gear for Estella, you’ll find her to be nearly indispensable to elemental teams and physical team comps alike, especially in the earliest hours of the game. She’s a must on a Cryo team, but she plays well with practically any operator in Arknights: Endfield.
Best Estella Weapons And Essence
When you start pulling on the banners in the Headhunting menu in Arknights: Endfield, you’ll be in for a wealth of four-star characters along the way to the harder-to-get operators, and that’s where you’ll find Estella, a drowsy Cryo polearm-user who’s decreptively powerful in physical combat as well.
Arknights: Endfield – All Tasks You Should Complete Daily
Your checklist for every task you should do daily in Arknights: Endfield to get the most value from your account.
With a strong focus on Will as her main attribute and plenty of focus on brute force with her secondary being Strength, you’ll have a fairly easy time with the combination of skills required to use her most effectively in combat. Despite being a Cryo user, her impressive physical strength is strikingly potent, and you’ll find that Solidifying and smashing enemies to be an easy feat with her as your main control operator.
Estella is a good pick for any elemental team relying on Cryo, since her application of this element is effortless. She’s got a heavy focus on music in her attacks, weapons, and gear,

JET |
Six-Star |
|
Of course Estella can make good use of the best polearm in Arknights: Endfield so far! The boost to her Will is actually a blanket Main Attribute buff here, so it can be used by any other character should you decide to swap it out later. Offering both Cryo and physical buffs, JET is a good pick if you’re able to get it. |
|
Valiant |
Six-Star |
|
While we wish we could swap the skill boost she gets from it from Agility, Estella will find plenty of good use for the Valiant polearm with its physical damage and blanket attack boost. She even gains an extra physical damage hit when inflicting physical statuses while weilding it, which she’ll do fairly often. |
|
OBJ Razorhorn |
Five-Star |
|
Her signature weapon, the OBJ Razorhorn was literally made for Estella. Her Cryo Infliction skills will absolutely skyrocket using this weapon, and with a boost to her primary stat as well as a blanket physical damage boost and a great bost to damage dealt to Solidified enemies, it’s clear to see why it’s her signature! |
|
Aggeloslayer |
Four-Star |
|
Though not her signature weapon, the Aggeloslayer is the easiest of the good weapons for Estella to access, appearing early on in your main missions. It helps double down on her Will and provides a good Arts boost to help improve her Cryo infliction as well until you can pull something more powerful for her to use down the line. |

Aburrey |
|
When the wearer casts a Battle Skill, Combo Skill, or Ultimate, they gain +5% attack for 15 seconds. The buff from each skill type is unique and cannot stack with itself, but all three attack type buffs can be triggered at once. |
The best gear for Estella in Arknights: Endfield depends on the kind of team you’re running her on. Physical teams will benefit massively from her wearing the Eternal Xiranite set, while all team types are aided by her buffs from the Aburrey and Type 50 Yinglung sets. Use the Swordmancer gauntlets to help her Stagger more effectively, another perk for any type of Estella team comp.

Here’s an updated list of all the voice actors in Arknights: Endfield.
Estella Best Teams And Abilities
The best teams for Estella in Arknights: Endfield will put her in a position where she can shine with both Cryo and physical moves, which gives you plenty of ways to use her in combat effectively.
If you’re looking for a good Solidification and Shatter team comp for Estella that makes good use of both of her primary skills, keeping her with Alesh will be a good idea, since the pair can team up to offer up some pretty potent freezing capabilities. With Fluorite on the team to use her Nature application to double down on Estella and Alesh’s Cryo, having Xaihi in the mix offers not only elemental amplification for the team, but good Sustain as well.
A more free-to-play alternative uses both the Endministrator for their impressive physical might that synergizes well with the application of Cryo, and Chen Qianyu to help drive home the physical damage. Again, Alesh comes along for the ride to buff not only Estella, but the Endmin as well.
Overall, unless you’re focusing on elemental applications, Estella seems to do better on physical teams overall.
Estella Abilities Overview And Upgrade Priority
With decent Cryo moves and a flurry of physical abilities, you’ll find Estella fitting in well with teams that rely on elemental application and physical prowess evenly.
She’ll be an ace on teams of this nature, and her abilities lend well to plenty of physical teams as well if you focus more on that than her Cryo moves.
- Her Basic Attack deals up to four blows of physical damage and offers 17 Stagger.
- Estella’s Battle Skill is more elemental in nature, blowing a stream of cold air to inflict Cryo damage and leave behind a lingering Cryo application to all those in the path of said stream.
- When an enemy has been frozen and Solidified, her Combo Skill can trigger and move her quickly across the field to hit an enemy for physical damage, Lifting them in the process. Solidified enemies this hits take extra damage.
- Her UItimate is an AoE attack that deals physical damage to enemies in a small circle around her, Lifting enemies that are susceptible to physical damage at the time it hits.
Despite having so much Cryo focus, we’d recommend leveling Estella’s Ultimate before anything else, folllowing it with either her Combo Skill or Basic Attack. Unless you’re running a Shatter team or are sharpshooting the application of Arts that react with it, you won’t use her Battle Skill as often as any of the others, especially if she’s your main operator; most teams can overlook the Battle Skill unless elements are a focus.
As you continue to level up Estella, which you’ll likely do early on using the beginner’s tickets for Headhunting and the early-game free currencies, you’ll get to her first Combat Talent, which makes her Ultimate return some SP when she triggers Shatter. Continuing to her second Combat Talent, Estella becomes immune to taking Cryo damage herself, instead converting it to extra Cryo damage she deals.
