The Best Bike Settings To Use In Ride 6

Bike settings in Ride 6 are just as personal as the bike you create. You’ll want to adjust every bike to the specific race, terrain, and your own specific needs. Still, there are a few options that are worth testing out and adjusting before you pop into any given race.

You can get in and adjust almost any aspect of the bike you’re riding, from suspension to transmission to electronics and more. Combined with game experience options that can provide a bit of an assist, you can truly make a saved bike setting that’s tailored specifically for your racing style.

How To Access Bike Settings

Starting a race with the bike setup menu highlighted in Ride 6.

First, you’ll need to be in quick moeds and be racing under the Pro game experience. Under Arcade, you won’t get the level of adjustments and options you do in Pro mode; in fact, you cannot edit your bike settings at all in Arcade mode.

Under the Pro gaming experience, you can adjust the following settings:

  • Automatic Breaks
  • Automatic Steering
  • Transmission
  • Automatic Throttle

Alongside these, you can adjust other options like game speed reduction, rewind, and off-track aid, all of which are meant to help you get back into the game.

Under Pro mode, you cannot adjust the difficulty or adaptability of the AI among a few other options, so be aware that things will be more realistic in this mode.

When you’re ready to start a race, you can select the race, and before you hit start, you’ll see the Bike Setup section. Click this to access your bike setup options.

This option is restricted to quick modes and will use your stock or purchased bike.

Best Bike Settings

Purchasing parts to improve your bike in Ride 6.

Once you’re on the setup menu, it’s time to get to work. You can save setups to reuse or use later, and you’ll need to purchase parts to adjust certain options, as without them, you can’t make changes here.

It’s important to note that the adjustments for certain parts are based on the parts you have installed on your bike. The higher-grade components you have, the more adjustment options available to you.

Suspension

This is entirely up to you; however, we’ve found success with leaving your suspension directly in the middle (at 4) when you first start.

Adjusting the rear suspension here is a good idea, with setting your preload, spring stiffness, compression damping, and rebound damping to 5. Readjust as necessary when you try this out.

Transmission

The goal is to reduce your numbers as you increase the gear-switching. Our settings are as follows:

  1. 157 km/h
  2. 200 km/h
  3. 240 km/h
  4. 259 km/h
  5. 288 km/h
  6. 311 mh/h

Final Ratio set is to 6 and slipper clutch set to 2.

Vehicle Geometry

When you begin, you’ll need to unlock better components for more adjustments. Our swingarm length and chain tension were both set to 4, in the middle.

Electronics

The electronics setup screen in Ride 6.

Your bike won’t do too much lifting in Ride 6, so you’re free to add more power and reduce your AW a bit here. Our settings are as follows:

  • TCS: 2
  • AW: 2
  • EB: 2
  • PWR: 2
  • ABS: 2

Your ABS and EB will be locked if you’re using automatic brakes during the race, so you won’t be able to adjust them. When it’s raining or you’re on difficult terrain, you can freely adjust these stats to best fit your driving style.

If you’re having trouble starting out, leaving your ABS and EB set to automatic is a good idea.

Tires

You want to stick with soft tires for the most part, as hard tires will require you to really pay attention when turning. We’ve used soft tires for front and back to a good degree, but do feel free to use what works best for you.
