We did have a productive time at CES, where we previewed tons of cool new products hitting store shelves soon. We’re also helping you tighten your belts by spotlighting budget tech. Ring Battery Doorbell With Indoor Cam Deal

For a security solution that covers both the inside and the outside of your home, you can’t beat a 50% price cut on this Amazon Ring bundle, which gets you both an easy-to-install video doorbell and a multipurpose indoor camera. In our review of the Ring Battery Doorbell, we praised the head-to-toe camera and compatibility with Alexa and IFTTT smart home systems. The Indoor Cam is an unobtrusive little cylinder that can be positioned anywhere there’s a power outlet, with a manual privacy shutter and 1080p video including color night vision. You can get live streams from both devices to a phone or compatible smart device, but note that you’ll need a monthly Ring subscription to store footage in the cloud for later review.

As we get closer to the Super Bowl, expect more and more TV deals as retailers cash in on football fever. If you don’t want to wait, this 45% discount on the Editors’ Choice-winning Hisense U65QF is a spectacular offer on a bright and colorful set with great features. In our review, we praised the many improvements this model made over the previous one, including a refresh rate boosted to 144Hz, brightness of 1024 nits making it usable in all sorts of rooms, and astounding color temperature. It benchmarked spectacularly for the price, so snag one while you have the chance.

Sonos Beam Gen 2 Soundbar Deal

What’s a new TV without a new sound setup to go with it? Amazon has a nice 26% discount on the very solid Sonos Beam Gen 2, which will add robust spatial sound to the big game, streaming movies, console games, and more. We have an extensive review of this unit from 2021, giving it an “Excellent” rating for its surprisingly impressive Dolby Atmos performance, with a wide sound field, crisp highs and rich mids. It doesn’t have a subwoofer, so bass response isn’t quite as solid, but for most viewing purposes you won’t notice. Setup is simple with the free Sonos app, but one downside is that it doesn’t support Bluetooth connectivity.
