The PS5 game comes from Hitman developer IO Interactive, and is slated to launch at some point in 2026. Since we now know Sony is teaming up for a dedicated State of Play all about the game, it seems the hardware manufacturer has some sort of marketing deal in place for the title.
Here’s the setup from the studio:
007 First Light is a thrilling narrative action-adventure game developed and published by IO Interactive. Follow James Bond as a young, resourceful, and sometimes reckless recruit in MI6’s training program, and discover an origin story of the world’s most famous spy.
