Milestone is on the verge of releasing its next big racing game, Screamer, and its newly emerged Trophy list looks like it’ll force you to get good.
The arcade racing game, launching on 26th March 2026, has various interesting gameplay hooks in addition to an anime-inspired storyline, meaning it’s quite the departure from your average racer.
The Trophy list is a good snapshot of this. If you’re gunning for the platinum, you’ll need to complete each team’s storyline, and you’ll also get various Trophies for finishing specific chapters.
On top of that, the list also requires you to play as various characters and complete specific tasks with them. For example, playing as Dirk, you need to knock out 100 opponents using his Blood Thirst skill.
You’ll also need to master some of the game’s fighting game-inspired mechanics; you’ll need to pull off 100 KOs while in Overdrive, KO an opponent who’s in your ally’s slipstream, and yes, parry 50 KOs using your vehicle’s shield.
It looks like a list that you’ll quite easily whittle down just by playing normally, but at the same time, you’ll need to really engage with all the systems at play within Screamer to get everything.
There don’t appear to be any online-specific Trophies or difficulty-related ones, which is nice.
