Resident Evil Requiem‘s snazzy Leon and Grace Hamilton watches have had their prices revealed, and your wallet is really going to feel it if you want either (or both!) of them.
Yesterday’s Resident Evil Showcase didn’t really have much in the way of news, aside from some new glimpses at Leon Kennedy’s gameplay and the sad confirmation that we won’t be getting a collector’s edition. What the presentation lacked in hard-hitting reveals, though, it made up for with… collaborations?
We already knew that Leon’s car in Resident Evil Requiem is a collaboration with Porsche, but it got plenty of time to shine in the Showcase. That wasn’t all, though, as Capcom has also teamed up with luxury watch brand Hamilton to give Grace and Leon some special in-game bling that can also be bought in real-life.

Even if you don’t know that much about watches, I’m pretty sure everyone figured out pretty fast that these 2,000-piece limited Hamilton watches were going to be pretty expensive. As pointed out by Twitter user Wario64, that’s indeed the case, as the listings have gone up on the official Hamilton website.

Requiem is preparing to combine shooter action with survival horror like never before.
Grace’s watch, the American Classic Pan Europ, will run you back $1,475 in total, which, while still very expensive, is nowhere near as costly as Leon’s watch. Leon has a unique Khaki Field Auto Chrono watch that costs a whopping $2,175. As anyone who has tried to get a replica of his jacket knows, I guess that’s the price you pay for wanting to look like Leon.
It doesn’t help that each watch is limited to 2,000 pieces, which will surely make them highly sought-after collector’s items in the future. I can’t even lie, I’m a little tempted to live off ice soup for months to get one of them.
While those price points might make the Hamilton watches an impossibility for most of us, the listings do at least have some interesting details. The Hamilton website reveals that Leon’s watch has a “wing detail at 9 o’clock” that is meant to honour fallen comrades, suggesting that Leon might have lost an important friend or two in the years since Resident Evil 6.
