Resident Evil’s Leon Kennedy has pretty much always been one of gaming’s biggest heartthrobs, all the way back when he was a pudding police cadet in the Raccoon City Police Department. Over the years, his looks have changed quite a bit, and mostly thanks to the leaps in technology over the past decade or so, he now looks as good as ever.
However, Leon is knocking on as we move into Resident Evil Requiem, and now that he’s in his fifties, he no longer really has that teen heartthrob vibe anymore. That doesn’t mean that people won’t be thirsting over him though, as he’s traded in his youthful good looks for a more gruff vibe in Requiem, and he also seems to have been hitting the gym. To say that people are pleased would be an understatement.
Resident Evil Requiem Fans Are Thirsting Over Buff Leon
Over the past 24 hours, footage of Resident Evil Requiem’s demo has been shared all across social media, which features a few gameplay segments that have you playing as Leon. Not only that, but these segments have you playing as a jacketless Leon, and more than a few people have noticed that he’s now rocking a pair of swans on each arm.

Yes, thanks to Leon wearing a shirt that could quite possibly be painted on him, and sporting a couple of balloons for his biceps, people are going rather feral for him. Just from a brief glance at Twitter, I found several clips of Leon prying open a cupboard rather forcefully with a hatchet, and you have users practically barking in the replies.
For example, you have this post from a Twitter user called Sileonthill which is literally just captioned “arms” and has over 10k likes. In the replies, you have people saying everything from “I wanna bite them immediately” to “the way he thrusts that goddamn axe” and even “GIMME THAT”. Honestly, it’s levels of swooning I’ve never seen before.
That’s not the only Twitter post you’ll find all about Leon’s massive arms either, as people are really, really enjoying his grunting as he picks up heavy objects, and thanking Capcom with all their hearts for making him as buff and beefy as he’s ever been. People are down pretty bad for gruff, jacked Leon, and you can’t really blame them either. Lord help us all if Leon and Ada Wong are ever seen in the same room together. I’m not sure the Resident Evil community could cope.
