Last week, we learned that Resident Evil Requiem will be receiving a DLC, along with a photo mode and some other content. While the DLC could possibly follow either Leon or Grace, it seems likely that it will revolve around the former. Resident Evil DLCs have a knack for bringing in other characters from the series, and insider AestheticGamer aka Dusk Golem says this time it’s “very likely” to be fan-favourite Ada Wong.
Ada and Leon have featured together over multiple Resident Evil games, and are one of the fandom’s biggest ships. While they haven’t officially been revealed as a couple, the revelation that Leon is married in Requiem will make her possible appearance in the DLC a massive one. Perhaps we’ll finally find out who Leon is married to.
Resident Evil Requiem DLC Could Reveal Who Leon Is Married To
“I sat on this for a bit, & thank you to StiviwonderN for bringing it to my attention. There was a slight slip up somewhere (I won’t give context), this isn’t from my sources, unintentional leak. But Ada Wong is very likely in the Resident Evil Requiem’s DLC.” said a tweet by Dusk Golem. The insider refused to elaborate on the source as they claimed it was a genuine mistake that could get someone in trouble.
“The leak is definitely real, like it’s undoubtedly real. But to see how it comes together, I don’t have a good grasp of RE9’s DLC at all or what’s in it,” they explained in the comments. “But this specific thing is an actual mistake someone slipped up with.”
If Ada does appear in the Resident Evil Requiem DLC, it might finally answer one of the biggest mysteries in the series: who Leon is married to. At the very least, it will rule out Ada, with Claire being the next likely person. However, Chris will still be in the running.
Resident Evil Requiem is already one of the most popular entries in the long-running series. Capcom recently announced that it not only sold six million copies, but is the fastest game in the series to reach this milestone.
