Four days ago, Nintendo shadow-dropped arguably the best and also most inaccessible Fire Emblem game, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, as part of its Nintendo GameCube Classics program, available exclusively on Switch 2.
There was just one problem — there was no English trailer in sight, let alone an acknowledgment on any of Nintendo of America’s official channels.
Four days later, it seems like Nintendo is attempting to rectify that, having finally released a full English trailer on its YouTube channel, along with multiple posts on social media.
Again, it’s unclear exactly why Nintendo was so behind the ball in letting fans know about the next entry in its highly-publicized Nintendo Classics program.
It’s been a long enough gap between the Japan reveal and America reveal that some have already beaten the game.
However, its absence was notable, leading some to believe that the company didn’t care all too much about its GameCube Classics line or Fire Emblem.

GameCube Classics Have Had A Weird Marketing Push
“‘Better late than never’ upload,” the top comment on the YouTube trailer read.
That level of humor wasn’t lost on Twitter, either, with one user writing, “A few days after, and now, y’all finally released this trailer outside of the Switch 2 online app? Sheesh.”
That said, while Fire Emblem fans were particularly miffed at the lack of acknowledgment, it’s almost been par for the course when it comes to the GameCube Classics program.
You’d be forgiven if you didn’t know that Wario World was also available. That game was revealed with a press release and a small trailer on site. Before that, Luigi’s Mansion was announced via a late night trailer reveal.
Barring a Wario World-level surprise release in between, the next three games that have yet to release as part of GameCube Classics are Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, Pokemon Colosseum and Mario Sunshine.
The former two could be featured as part of any Pokemon 30th Anniversary celebrations, but it’s definitely safe to assume that Sunshine’s eventual inclusion might end up getting the same treatment that every other game so far has — nothing.
