Arc Raiders is a peaceful game about people taking a shuttle to the surface to find loot for their underground habitat and their pet chicken. You might have to fight off the occasional Arc in the process, but it’s a chill vibe overall. However, there are some players who turn it into a PvP nightmare, full of mistrust, theft, and betrayal, and NFL star Ja’Marr Chase unfortunately came in contact with them.
Truthfully, I don’t know if Chase is a PvPer or a friendly player, but the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver found himself in a firefight with other Arc Raiders players and was downed in the process. While most of us pray to be miraculously rescued or wait for that inevitable punch, he tried to bribe his way out of getting killed.
Ja’Marr Chase Offered Season Tickets For A Defib In Arc Raiders
Chase and another player found themselves engaged in a shootout against someone in a dark corridor. The NFL star was the first to be downed, after which he cheered on the other player to kill the player who shot him. Unfortunately, the enemy proved to be too strong for both of them. As they approached Chase’s downed raider, the wide receiver pleaded with them to defib them instead offering Bengals season tickets in return.
“Bro, if somebody defibs me, I could give you season tickets,” he announced. “Defib me bro, I can give you some tickets for the whole season, bro wait!” Unfortunately, it seems the raider didn’t care for the offer, as they executed him. Chase clearly wasn’t serious about the offer, as he and the person he was playing with laughed off the whole scenario.
Arc Raiders Should Have Been At Least Nominated For This GOTY Category
Arc Raiders Sound Design is fantastic, and it’s a real shame it didn’t get a nod at this years Game Awards.
I don’t know much about the NFL, but season tickets are definitely expensive, and I doubt Chase would have really managed to give them to the player. Perhaps a ticket for the next match, considering the person even liked football and was based in the U.S. Watching him desperately offer the tickets was pretty funny though!
