MindsEye CEO Takes Legal Action Against YouTuber Over Epstein Files Video

A couple of days ago we reported on some names from the video games industry being mentioned in the Epstein files. Emails were exchanged between Epstein, Pablos Holman, and former Activision CEO Bobby Kotick pushing for microtransactions in Call of Duty, and he was also banned from Xbox Live for various violations.

Rockstar Games president Sam Houser and former GTA lead Leslie Benzies (now co-CEO of MindsEye developer Build A Rocket Boy) were also mentioned, with the latter being accused of sexual assault. It’s important to note that being mentioned in the files doesn’t connect them to Epstein directly. In a new development, Build a Rocket Boy’s other co-CEO, Mark Gerhard has issued a cease and desist order against a YouTuber for making a video about Benzies’ appearance in the Epstein files.

As reported by Kotaku, YouTuber Cyber Boi reportedly published an 18-minute video called ‘Leslie Benzies is in the Epstein Files.’ This caused Gerhard, who was not the CEO mentioned in the files, to issue a cease and desist against Cyber Boi, threatening further legal action. As a result, the video has now been taken down.

“It is profoundly disappointing to learn that certain BARB employees continue to leak confidential information to you, thereby betraying their colleagues, our studio, and the broader community we serve,” wrote Gerhard on the official MindsEye Discord server. “This letter serves as a formal cease and desist demand: You must immediately stop all activities related to receiving, disseminating, or otherwise utilizing any confidential information from BARB, as well as any further involvement in media manipulation, espionage, sabotage, or interference targeting our organization. Failure to comply will result in escalated legal action.

“Rest assured, you and your associates involved in this media manipulation cabal will be served with legal papers imminently, as BARB proceeds with complaints alleging criminal espionage, sabotage, and interference. You are all in very serious trouble.”

As Valve Cracks Down On Steam’s Adult Content, An Epstein Game Is Getting A New “Update”

Valve’s crackdown on questionable games seems to be a little bit patchy.

This isn’t the first time Gerhard has mentioned a conspiracy against the developer. Back in May 2025, when MindEye was getting terrible reviews, Gerhard said that he believed the bad reviews were being paid for. He didn’t say who was paying for them, but the allegations felt like they were aimed at Rockstar or Take-Two. He later tried to distance himself from the comments.
