You can now collect and display Link’s iconic weapons from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom thanks to Bandai’s nine-piece The Legend of Zelda Weapon Collection. It features some of the best weapons from the games, along with special stands to show them off.
Breath of the Wild shook up the series and the video games industry in more ways than one. Besides setting the bar for all open-world games after it, BOTW also delivered a masterclass in player freedom. It further expanded on the formula in Tears of the Kingdom. However, the game’s weapon durability feature has always split the fanbase. Now you can collect and show off miniature versions of these weapons.
Link’s Mini Armory
This set of nine weapons features two variants of the Master Sword (sheathed and unsheathed), the Hylian Shield, Royal Claymore, Zora Longsword, Seven Jewels Dagger, Great Eagle Bow, Stonecrusher, and a Lightscale Trident. They are all incredibly detailed and come with display stands.
The launch of the collection coincides with the 40th anniversary of The Legend of Zelda. While Nintendo hasn’t made a big fuss about the milestone, the Weapons Collection is a great way to commemorate the long running series. Hopefully, the durability of these weapons is much better than in the games.
Nintendo Needs To Stop Telling Us That Link And Zelda Are ‘Just Friends’
Zelda isn’t fooling anybody when it comes to her romantic connection with Link.
There’s also a live-action Zelda movie in the works, in case you had forgotten. Unfortunately, we don’t have much information on that besides the cast announcement and a few set photos. Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will play Link and Bo Bragason will portray Zelda. We also learned that Netflix has picked up the streaming rights for the movie.
