To gather the extra Gimmighoul Coins, head to Hyperspace Lumiose through the distortions scattered across the map. Once inside, keep an eye out for the sparkly yellow spots. These can reward you with Gimmighoul Coins. Every coin you step on adds to your total, so exploration in these Hyperspace areas is the key.
Since each entry to Hyperspace Lumiose only lasts a limited time, you will need to make a lot of trips to accumulate all 586 coins you’re missing. Patience and persistence pay off here, as the shiny spots aren’t always easy to reach.
Try focusing on the more clustered sparkly spots first to maximize what you collect each run.
After you’ve collected enough coins, the final step is simple: level up your Gimmighoul. Once it gains a level, it will consume the coins you’ve gathered and evolve into Gholdengo.
