Whenever a new update for Arc Raiders comes around, one of the things that gets added most commonly is quests. These quests take you to new areas of the map and even continue previous questlines sometimes. They’re also a great way to earn some rewards without too much hassle.
A Prime Specimen is one such quest, and it introduces you to the Arc Deforesters on the Blue Gate map. These deforesters have been there since the game began, but you might not have paid much attention to them till you got this quest, and here’s how you can easily loot them.
Where To Find Arc Powercells
The first and easiest part of A Prime Specimen quest is to find two Arc Powercells in a raid. These are one of the easy items to get, and you might already know how to farm them. Essentially, whenever you defeat any Arc, you can get an Arc Powercell when you loot them, and you usually get at least one even while looting smaller enemies.
The quest only asks you to get two of these, which you need to loot the Arc Deforester. However, in our experience, the part of the quest that needs these gets unchecked when you use them on the deforester, so you should get about four just to be safe.

Where To Find An Arc Deforester
As you might’ve already seen on the quest itself, the Arc Deforesters are primarily found on the Blue Gate map, which is where you’ll have to finish this quest. Once you’re on this map, these can easily be identified by looking for a circular ruined Arc structure by opening your map.
You can spot one of these just to the right of Maintenance Bunker, with a lot more on the southwestern and western edge of Blue Gate. Head to any one of these and you can finish this quest. There’s a chance that the Arc Deforester you go to might already be looted, and you’ll have to find another one.
How To Loot The Arc Deforester
Once you’ve reached an Arc Deforester, you’ll have to start looking for a sparking control panel. This can easily be identified from far away since the sparks are quite evident. As soon as you see these sparks, head over to them and use your first Arc Powercell, which will start up a fire trap nearby.
Avoid the fire and move deeper into the structure where you’ll see another spark. Interact with the panel here and use your second Arc Deforester, which will fully activate it. Now, you have to head back out and find a way to climb the platform right above the control panels.
You usually have to climb on the structure beside the one containing the control panel and then jump back into it.
Once you’re on the upper platform, you can go to its edge and loot the Deforester, finishing A Prime Specimen quest.
