There are three new bosses to beat in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1, and each grants you a different ability, mythic weapon, and medallion kit. There are similar aspects to previous boss NPCs, but with some notable differences!
Before you start chasing them down, you will want to know if any of the boss battles are worth your time. Here is everything you need to know about where to find and how to beat every boss NPC in Fortnite Chapter 7, Season 1.
How To Find And Beat Boss NPCs In Fortnite
Similar to last season, the bosses will spawn randomly in a set number of locations across the map, each one switching to a different one every match. As you glide to the surface or run to each location, watch for the boss skull icon that appears when they are near.
Unlike last season, where you had ten locations to choose from, this season you only have to try to find them in five locations:
- Ripped Tides
- Classified Canyon
- Peelian Swamp landmark (west of Painted Palms)
- Paws Inn landmark (east of Wonkeeland)
- Sunset Falls landmark (south of Wonkeeland)
Each boss is flanked by two NPC henchmen, and uses their mythic weapon. It is easy to ignore the henchmen and concentrate your fire on the boss. Make sure to approach each boss knowing what weapon type they have and attack strategically to avoid too much damage.
Once defeated, they drop meds, the mythic weapon, and a special boss medallion kit. It takes some time to pick up the medallion kit, giving you a moment to decide whether you truly want to hold this item.
Each medallion kit gives you a power specific to the boss you have defeated, and a small amount of extra health and shield. This medallion kit is unlike the medallions you know from past boss fights, as it takes up space in your inventory, and it cannot be dropped.

The medallion kit will show you the precise location on the map, no longer just a vague yellow outline, but your immediate location marked by a skull boss icon.
How To Find And Defeat Human Bill
Human Bill, the blue alien (sorry, human) carries a mythic Arc Lightning Gun, his kit containing the Human Bill Power, and a Chug Jug.
To defeat Human Bill, keep your distance and use a mid-to-long-range weapon. Stay clear of the Arc Lightning power, as its power lies mostly in short-range attacks. His henchmen shouldn’t be too much trouble, but do watch your back for other players who might hear the fight from a distance and want to try and take your loot.
Once defeated, Human Bill will drop his mythic Arc Lightning Gun and his medallion kit. This kit grants you a boost to your health and shield, as well as a low-gravity power when the kit is equipped. Use this power to stop fall damage and help you traverse the island safely.
How To Find And Defeat Beach Brutus
Beach Brutus holds the mythic Twin Hammer Shotguns, a powerful version of the double pumps available from chests. He also drops a Chug Jug, and his special medallion kit that grants you the Beach Brutus Power.
To defeat Brutus and his two henchmen, you will want to attack him from a distance, as, like Human Bill, his weapon has a mighty short-range attack. Concentrate your firepower on Brutus, and his henchmen will die when he is defeated.
Beach Brutus will drop the mythic Twin Hammer Shotguns that have fast reload and a boost to damage, and his medallion kit that grants you automatic shield regeneration.
How To Find And Defeat Hush
Hush has her mythic Deadeye Assault Rifle and a handful of grenades, and she will drop a Chug Jug and her medallion kit when defeated. Like the other two bosses, she is also flanked by two henchmen.
Mobility is key when trying to defeat Hush, as she has great aim with her mid-range assault rifle. Stay away from the line of fire, and avoid getting ‘sploded by the grenades she throws too.
Once defeated, she drops her mythic AR, and you can take her medallion kit that grants you the ability to use Zero Point Dash. Her AR has a boosted headshot multiplier, so it is a great choice for players with good aim.
