In My Winter Car, you don’t only need to protect yourself from dying of hypothermia or not consuming food for periods of time — you also need cash to buy all the things needed for your survival and to achieve your dream of restoring old cars. But how do you earn money in this game?
Unfortunately, in the same way as you would in real life: by getting a job. And yes, some of them involve repetitive tasks that will bore you, and the pay won’t be great. However, one job is not so terrible. Here’s how to make money fast in My Winter Car.
How To Make Money Fast
You can start more than one job, as there are multiple opportunities to earn some cash, even through gambling. However, when it comes to making decent money without that much effort and taking too much time, we recommend one in particular: Firewood Chopping and Delivery.
This job doesn’t require finding phone numbers and listening to endless calls, and you have your own time and no bosses. To start it, you need to go to Kesselinpera, in the south of the location.
However, you’ll get a guaranteed client if you buy the Corris Rivett from Reijo, something you can do as you just start the game. Here’s our guide on how to do it.
Arrive here, and you’ll see the vehicle you need to drive (the tractor Kekmet) and the wood chopper attachment. Enter the tractor, move the hand throttle down before starting its engine (it’s on the right of the steering wheel), and then drive it so the attachment is right behind it. Lower the rear hitch (right side of your seat) and get out of the tractor, and attach the wood chopper to it manually.
Get back to the tractor for the last time, and use the PTO handle (it’s on the left side of the steering wheel). You can now start grabbing logs from nearby (there will be a pile on the left of where you found the tractor) and adding them to the attachment’s. Press the log from time to time to cut it.
Finally, carry the log to your clients, and they will pay around 2,000 MK depending on how much log you bring them.

How To Use Credit Cards
The game never tells you, but you start with a credit card that you can use from the get-go. In fact, you have a bank account with a different amount of money than the one shown to you on the top left side of the screen — you have an extra 2,000 MK in your account!
You can use the credit card while buying fuel for your car or at an ATM, but first you need to interact with the latter at least once. Enter the PSK fuel station, and you’ll find one machine on your right.
Insert your credit card, and it will ask you for a PIN. Don’t worry, it isn’t written somewhere random that you have to find — you will create your own PIN when you do this for the first time. But don’t forget it, since it will be the one used until you start a new game, and it can’t be changed.
Your PIN can be a two-digit number, such as 12 or 75.
Then that’s it, you’ll be able to check your bank account at ATMs, take money, and use your credit card.
