One of the greatest challenges you’ll face in Palworld is the summoning of Raid Bosses, which are particularly powerful Pals that cannot be found under normal means. Fighting these Pals means welcoming them into your base for a battle, or entering an otherworldy arena for a legendary battle.
We’ll help you locate the necessary items to summon Hartalis, as well as how to defeat it to claim new rewards. It will be a difficult challenge, but one that’s thoroughly rewarding. Here’s everything you need to know to challenge the newest Raid Boss Pal and emerge from combat victorious once more.
How To Get Hartalis Tablet Fragments
Before you can challenge Hartalis, you’ll need to beat Saya and Selyne at the Sakurajima Tower. Once that’s done, you can send your Pals on an expedition back at base. Both the Sakurajima Tower and the Feybreak Tower offer the Hartalis Tablet fragment as a potential expedition reward.

Only the brave summon Xenolord!
Make sure to send enough Pals that your percentage rate is high, otherwise your expedition team might now return with the items you want.
You’ll need to use four tablet fragments to craft a full tablet, at which point you’ll take it to the Summoning Altar. Make sure to come thoroughly prepared with only your best weapons and armor.
How To Beat Hartalis
Hartalis is a dangerous Pal with two different phases you must defeat. As a Raid Boss, Hartalis starts off by being a Water and Grass element Pal. For the second phase, Hartalis is neutral.
The best course of action is to start with deploying Electric element Pals, then switch to Dark element Pals for the second phase. Since Hartalis is a level 65 Raid Boss, it’s important to come prepared with the right gear since you’ll only have ten minutes to beat them. The recommended loadout is as follows:
- Charge Rifle
- Plasma Cannon
- Hexolite Armor
- Hexolite Helmet
- Advanced Bow
- Beam Sword
- Ultra Shield
Make sure to equip amulets according to your preferred playstyle or according to what you have on hand.

Hartalis Base Utility
When deployed at your base, Hartalis is best suited to Lumbering and Gathering. Placing them around the gardening area of your base or the logging nodes will best utilize their skills.
Additionally, you can craft a saddle for them and ride them across the archipelago. Unfortunately, you’ll only be able to unlock the Neutral element variation, but you can use them to generate a barrier and triple jump when mounted. The barrier deflects all incoming attacks, so you can safely traverse the region.
